Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano review for 2026

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use ITCPWSSOP as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as ITCPWSSOP for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and ITCPWSSOP is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 56 characters long, including blanks, while ITCPWSSOP is 9 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 47 characters every time we use ITCPWSSOP.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to ITCPWSSOP throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano course for you?

To determine whether Eddie Makes’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Eddie Makes’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Eddie Makes chose for the course, “Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano”, as well as its subtitle: “Learn how to write and play simple chord progressions with excitement and confidence”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Eddie Makes is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what ITCPWSSOP is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Eddie Makes hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Eddie Makes’s official description of ITCPWSSOP

This course is all about beginner chord progressions and simple chord-based songwriting on the piano! By teaching you the fundamentals and giving you one simple step at a time, you’ll be able to write and play your own simple piano songs that you’re proud of! The entire course is about two hours of video, but it’s split up into easy-to-digest sections. If you’re a quick learner, you can get through this course as quickly as an afternoon!

I give you the tools to succeed starting with the INTRO TO CHORDS all the way to PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER: CHORDS/RHYTHM/TIME SIGNATURE. And if you EVER get stuck, I’m excited to help you get back on track.

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does ITCPWSSOP pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Eddie Makes has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with ITCPWSSOP above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Eddie Makes do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Eddie Makes’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Eddie Makes sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the ITCPWSSOP course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Eddie Makes’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Eddie Makes, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Eddie Makes’s Udemy bio

Hi! I teach about a few different topics here on Udemy. Here’s some of my background:

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about Eddie Makes after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Eddie Makes, did it make you more or less interested in taking the ITCPWSSOP course?

And did it make you feel like Eddie Makes was more or less credible and qualified to teach Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the ITCPWSSOP lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the ITCPWSSOP course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Eddie Makes’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano, as well as the course’s subtitle, Learn how to write and play simple chord progressions with excitement and confidence.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that ITCPWSSOP is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Eddie Makes’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Eddie Makes that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Eddie Makes that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any ITCPWSSOP lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Eddie Makes, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Eddie Makes’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Eddie Makes’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Eddie Makes before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether ITCPWSSOP will be helpful for you.)

Are “Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the ITCPWSSOP page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to March 18, 2026, there were 90 students enrolled, 33 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.7 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate ITCPWSSOP the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the ITCPWSSOP reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Eddie Makes responsive to student questions in the ITCPWSSOP training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their ITCPWSSOP reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Eddie Makes a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought ITCPWSSOP yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across ITCPWSSOP while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Eddie Makes, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of ITCPWSSOP make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of ITCPWSSOP can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Eddie Makes is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other ITCPWSSOP students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through ITCPWSSOP at your own pace
  • You join a community of 90 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that ITCPWSSOP would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford ITCPWSSOP?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think ITCPWSSOP sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before March 18, 2026, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on ITCPWSSOP with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Eddie Makes’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best ITCPWSSOP course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting ITCPWSSOP for a better price, but also with any other Eddie Makes Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a ITCPWSSOP discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the ITCPWSSOP training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano promo code” or “Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Eddie Makes’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Eddie Makes Udemy coupons” or “Eddie Makes course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano coupons” rather than “Eddie Makes coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you ITCPWSSOP for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get ITCPWSSOP for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Eddie Makes decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on ITCPWSSOP, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the ITCPWSSOP course. Category one is an official Udemy coupon (which instructors can opt out of), while category two is a coupon offered directly by the instructor.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what kind of a coupon tag you’re dealing with (for example, “officially from Udemy” or “officially from the instructor”), as long as long as as you’re dealing with active coupons that get you a better price.

How can you get a ITCPWSSOP discount from Eddie Makes?

If you’re really serious about getting “Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Eddie Makes, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Eddie Makes’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Eddie Makes’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time ITCPWSSOP will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get ITCPWSSOP for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the ITCPWSSOP training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Eddie Makes has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano free coupon” or “Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Eddie Makes has offered free coupons for ITCPWSSOP in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a ITCPWSSOP free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the ITCPWSSOP training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download ITCPWSSOP illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Eddie Makes created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 90 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the ITCPWSSOP training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Eddie Makes’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on ITCPWSSOP no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the ITCPWSSOP training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Eddie Makes could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing ITCPWSSOP and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Intro To Chord Progressions: Write Simple Songs On Piano?

During this ITCPWSSOP review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the ITCPWSSOP training, the instructor, Eddie Makes, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.9 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives, as well as the course’s subtitle, Learn music theory through this music theory course app, music theory exercises, and music theory tutorials..

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that MTCP1-M&M is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Jason Allen’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Jason Allen that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Jason Allen that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any MTCP1-M&M lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Jason Allen, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Jason Allen’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Jason Allen’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Jason Allen before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether MTCP1-M&M will be helpful for you.)

Are “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the MTCP1-M&M page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to March 18, 2026, there were 55 students enrolled, 25 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.2 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate MTCP1-M&M the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the MTCP1-M&M reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Jason Allen responsive to student questions in the MTCP1-M&M training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their MTCP1-M&M reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Jason Allen a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought MTCP1-M&M yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across MTCP1-M&M while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Jason Allen, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of MTCP1-M&M make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of MTCP1-M&M can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Jason Allen is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other MTCP1-M&M students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through MTCP1-M&M at your own pace
  • You join a community of 55 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that MTCP1-M&M would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford MTCP1-M&M?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think MTCP1-M&M sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before March 18, 2026, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on MTCP1-M&M with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Jason Allen’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best MTCP1-M&M course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting MTCP1-M&M for a better price, but also with any other Jason Allen Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a MTCP1-M&M discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the MTCP1-M&M training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives promo code” or “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Jason Allen’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Jason Allen Udemy coupons” or “Jason Allen course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives coupons” rather than “Jason Allen coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you MTCP1-M&M for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get MTCP1-M&M for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Jason Allen decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on MTCP1-M&M, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the MTCP1-M&M course.

How can you get a MTCP1-M&M discount from Jason Allen?

If you’re really serious about getting “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Jason Allen, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Jason Allen’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Jason Allen’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time MTCP1-M&M will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get MTCP1-M&M for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the MTCP1-M&M training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Jason Allen has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives free coupon” or “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Jason Allen has offered free coupons for MTCP1-M&M in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a MTCP1-M&M free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the MTCP1-M&M training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download MTCP1-M&M illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Jason Allen created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 55 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the MTCP1-M&M training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Jason Allen’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on MTCP1-M&M no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the MTCP1-M&M training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Jason Allen could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing MTCP1-M&M and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 11 – Melody & Motives?

During this MTCP1-M&M review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the MTCP1-M&M training, the instructor, Jason Allen, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.7 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Rosa Suen chose for the course, “Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs”, as well as its subtitle: “Play songs by EAR & recognize places where chord changes in songs. Learn Music Theory & Play by Ear Techniques listening”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Rosa Suen is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what PBE#U3MCTTHS is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Rosa Suen hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Does PBE#U3MCTTHS pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Rosa Suen has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with PBE#U3MCTTHS above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Rosa Suen do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Rosa Suen’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Rosa Suen sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the PBE#U3MCTTHS course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Rosa Suen’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Rosa Suen, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Rosa Suen’s Udemy bio

Rosa is the Pastor and Church Pianist for a local community church in Hong Kong for over 30 years. She graduated from University of British Columbia and received her teaching certificate specializing in Chemistry and teaching English as a second language. She taught public schools in Canada for a couple of years and then went on to receive her Master’s degree in Christian Theological Ministry at Ontario Theological Seminary in Toronto. She started full time ministry with her husband in 1989 and received intensive Pastoral Counselling and Discipleship Training at Christian Disciples Church. They were ordained to become church ministers as Pastors in 1996 in a local church in Tsuen Wan and have been ministering to this same congregation for almost 20 years now.

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about Rosa Suen after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Rosa Suen, did it make you more or less interested in taking the PBE#U3MCTTHS course?

And did it make you feel like Rosa Suen was more or less credible and qualified to teach Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the PBE#U3MCTTHS lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the PBE#U3MCTTHS course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Rosa Suen’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs, as well as the course’s subtitle, Play songs by EAR & recognize places where chord changes in songs. Learn Music Theory & Play by Ear Techniques listening.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that PBE#U3MCTTHS is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Rosa Suen’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Rosa Suen that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Rosa Suen that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any PBE#U3MCTTHS lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Rosa Suen, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Rosa Suen’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Rosa Suen’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Rosa Suen before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether PBE#U3MCTTHS will be helpful for you.)

Are “Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the PBE#U3MCTTHS page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to March 18, 2026, there were 63 students enrolled, 30 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.7 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate PBE#U3MCTTHS the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the PBE#U3MCTTHS reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Rosa Suen responsive to student questions in the PBE#U3MCTTHS training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their PBE#U3MCTTHS reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Rosa Suen a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought PBE#U3MCTTHS yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across PBE#U3MCTTHS while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Rosa Suen, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of PBE#U3MCTTHS make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of PBE#U3MCTTHS can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Rosa Suen is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other PBE#U3MCTTHS students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through PBE#U3MCTTHS at your own pace
  • You join a community of 63 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that PBE#U3MCTTHS would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford PBE#U3MCTTHS?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think PBE#U3MCTTHS sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before March 18, 2026, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on PBE#U3MCTTHS with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Rosa Suen’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best PBE#U3MCTTHS course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting PBE#U3MCTTHS for a better price, but also with any other Rosa Suen Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a PBE#U3MCTTHS discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the PBE#U3MCTTHS training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs promo code” or “Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Rosa Suen’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Rosa Suen Udemy coupons” or “Rosa Suen course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs coupons” rather than “Rosa Suen coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you PBE#U3MCTTHS for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get PBE#U3MCTTHS for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Rosa Suen decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on PBE#U3MCTTHS, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the PBE#U3MCTTHS course.

How can you get a PBE#U3MCTTHS discount from Rosa Suen?

If you’re really serious about getting “Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Rosa Suen, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Rosa Suen’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Rosa Suen’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time PBE#U3MCTTHS will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get PBE#U3MCTTHS for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the PBE#U3MCTTHS training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Rosa Suen has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs free coupon” or “Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Rosa Suen has offered free coupons for PBE#U3MCTTHS in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a PBE#U3MCTTHS free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the PBE#U3MCTTHS training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download PBE#U3MCTTHS illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Rosa Suen created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 63 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the PBE#U3MCTTHS training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Rosa Suen’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on PBE#U3MCTTHS no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the PBE#U3MCTTHS training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Rosa Suen could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing PBE#U3MCTTHS and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Play By Ear #3: Use 3 Major Chord Trick to Harmonize Songs?

During this PBE#U3MCTTHS review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the PBE#U3MCTTHS training, the instructor, Rosa Suen, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.9 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Why use PFMTA1T5 as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5 course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as PFMTA1T5 for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and PFMTA1T5 is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 37 characters long, including blanks, while PFMTA1T5 is 8 characters long.

You do the math.

Is the Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5 course for you?

Can you understand what Michael Luck’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Michael Luck chose for the course, “Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5”, as well as its subtitle: “All you need to know to fast track to success with the ABRSM theory examinations grades 1 – 5.”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Michael Luck is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what PFMTA1T5 is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

I have been teaching music theory for over 30 years. As a peripatetic music teacher I have helped students of all ages with their theory studies. I can help students studying with any examination board but I mainly teach the ABRSM syllabus. I play saxophone and flute and gained a DipABRSM certificate in performance during 2008. Over the last eight years I have been teaching theory ‘one to one’ via the internet to students around the world. At present I teach in the UK, Ireland, Australia, USA, South Korea, India, Singapore and Sweden. I have recently started teaching the new LCM (London College of Music) popular theory syllabus. Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5 course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the PFMTA1T5 course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Michael Luck’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5, as well as the course’s subtitle, All you need to know to fast track to success with the ABRSM theory examinations grades 1 – 5..

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that PFMTA1T5 is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Michael Luck’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Michael Luck that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Michael Luck that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5 training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any PFMTA1T5 lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Michael Luck, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Michael Luck’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Michael Luck’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5 will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Michael Luck before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether PFMTA1T5 will be helpful for you.)

Are “Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the PFMTA1T5 page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to March 18, 2026, there were 889 students enrolled, 380 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.6 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate PFMTA1T5 the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the PFMTA1T5 reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Michael Luck responsive to student questions in the PFMTA1T5 training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their PFMTA1T5 reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Michael Luck a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought PFMTA1T5 yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across PFMTA1T5 while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5 on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5 is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Michael Luck, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of PFMTA1T5 make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5 training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of PFMTA1T5 can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Michael Luck is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other PFMTA1T5 students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through PFMTA1T5 at your own pace
  • You join a community of 889 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that PFMTA1T5 would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford PFMTA1T5?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think PFMTA1T5 sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before March 18, 2026, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on PFMTA1T5 with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5 discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Michael Luck’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best PFMTA1T5 course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting PFMTA1T5 for a better price, but also with any other Michael Luck Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a PFMTA1T5 discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the PFMTA1T5 training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5 promo code” or “Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5 udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Michael Luck’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Michael Luck Udemy coupons” or “Michael Luck course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5 coupons” rather than “Michael Luck coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you PFMTA1T5 for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get PFMTA1T5 for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Michael Luck decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on PFMTA1T5, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the PFMTA1T5 course.

How can you get a PFMTA1T5 discount from Michael Luck?

If you’re really serious about getting “Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Michael Luck, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Michael Luck’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Michael Luck’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time PFMTA1T5 will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get PFMTA1T5 for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the PFMTA1T5 training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Michael Luck has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5 free coupon” or “Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Michael Luck has offered free coupons for PFMTA1T5 in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a PFMTA1T5 free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the PFMTA1T5 training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download PFMTA1T5 illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5 download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5 free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Michael Luck created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 889 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5 if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the PFMTA1T5 training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Michael Luck’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on PFMTA1T5 no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the PFMTA1T5 training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Michael Luck could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing PFMTA1T5 and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Prepare for Music Theory ABRSM 1 to 5?

During this PFMTA1T5 review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the PFMTA1T5 training, the instructor, Michael Luck, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.8 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use PCHTFBCOPAK as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as PCHTFBCOPAK for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and PCHTFBCOPAK is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 60 characters long, including blanks, while PCHTFBCOPAK is 11 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 49 characters every time we use PCHTFBCOPAK.

Is the Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard course for you?

To determine whether Mantius Cazaubon’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Mantius Cazaubon’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Mantius Cazaubon chose for the course, “Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard”, as well as its subtitle: “Master The Most Common Piano Chords With The Help Of An Experienced Piano Player”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Mantius Cazaubon is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what PCHTFBCOPAK is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Mantius Cazaubon hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Mantius Cazaubon’s official description of PCHTFBCOPAK

Yes you can! You can master piano chords. I will show you exactly how.

In this course, I show you how to form and play the most important types of piano chords in every key. These are chords that every piano or keyboard player must know! If you want to master your chords, this course is right for you.

The course starts with me showing you how to play basic major and minor chords. Later on, I show you how to play dominant 7th, major 7th, minor 7th, sus2, sus4, augmented, diminished, major and minor 6th chords, and more. This course goes into great detail and I present scales and formulas to show you exactly how the chords are constructed. I demonstrate all the chords on the piano, so you know exactly how to play every chord. Piano chord charts are included, showing you the exact notes to play.

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does PCHTFBCOPAK pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Mantius Cazaubon has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with PCHTFBCOPAK above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Mantius Cazaubon do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Mantius Cazaubon’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Mantius Cazaubon sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the PCHTFBCOPAK course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Mantius Cazaubon’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Mantius Cazaubon, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Mantius Cazaubon’s Udemy bio

Are the PCHTFBCOPAK lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the PCHTFBCOPAK course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Mantius Cazaubon’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard, as well as the course’s subtitle, Master The Most Common Piano Chords With The Help Of An Experienced Piano Player.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that PCHTFBCOPAK is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Mantius Cazaubon’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Prior to March 18, 2026, there were 205 students enrolled, 85 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.3 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate PCHTFBCOPAK the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the PCHTFBCOPAK reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Mantius Cazaubon responsive to student questions in the PCHTFBCOPAK training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their PCHTFBCOPAK reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Mantius Cazaubon a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought PCHTFBCOPAK yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across PCHTFBCOPAK while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Mantius Cazaubon, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of PCHTFBCOPAK make it worth your time?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think PCHTFBCOPAK sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before March 18, 2026, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on PCHTFBCOPAK with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Mantius Cazaubon’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best PCHTFBCOPAK course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting PCHTFBCOPAK for a better price, but also with any other Mantius Cazaubon Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a PCHTFBCOPAK discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the PCHTFBCOPAK training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard promo code” or “Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Mantius Cazaubon’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Mantius Cazaubon Udemy coupons” or “Mantius Cazaubon course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard coupons” rather than “Mantius Cazaubon coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you PCHTFBCOPAK for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get PCHTFBCOPAK for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Mantius Cazaubon decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on PCHTFBCOPAK, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the PCHTFBCOPAK course.

How can you get a PCHTFBCOPAK discount from Mantius Cazaubon?

If you’re really serious about getting “Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Mantius Cazaubon, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Mantius Cazaubon’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Mantius Cazaubon’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time PCHTFBCOPAK will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get PCHTFBCOPAK for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the PCHTFBCOPAK training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Mantius Cazaubon has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard free coupon” or “Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Mantius Cazaubon has offered free coupons for PCHTFBCOPAK in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a PCHTFBCOPAK free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the PCHTFBCOPAK training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download PCHTFBCOPAK illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Mantius Cazaubon created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 205 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the PCHTFBCOPAK training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Mantius Cazaubon’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on PCHTFBCOPAK no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the PCHTFBCOPAK training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Mantius Cazaubon could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing PCHTFBCOPAK and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Piano Chords: How To Form Basic Chords On Piano And Keyboard?

During this PCHTFBCOPAK review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use #RMNFR2MNI7D as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as #RMNFR2MNI7D for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and #RMNFR2MNI7D is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 56 characters long, including blanks, while #RMNFR2MNI7D is 12 characters long.

Is the #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days course for you?

To determine whether Rosa Suen’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Rosa Suen’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Rosa Suen chose for the course, “#2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days”, as well as its subtitle: “Rosa’s Unique Note Attack Method to read Music notes with Accuracy – 7 Days systematic program to Read 22 Music Notes.”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Rosa Suen is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what #RMNFR2MNI7D is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Rosa Suen hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Rosa Suen’s official description of #RMNFR2MNI7D

Does #RMNFR2MNI7D pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Rosa Suen has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with #RMNFR2MNI7D above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Rosa Suen do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Rosa Suen’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Rosa Suen sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the #RMNFR2MNI7D course is worth taking.

What did you think about Rosa Suen after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Rosa Suen, did it make you more or less interested in taking the #RMNFR2MNI7D course?

And did it make you feel like Rosa Suen was more or less credible and qualified to teach #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the #RMNFR2MNI7D lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the #RMNFR2MNI7D course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Rosa Suen’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days, as well as the course’s subtitle, Rosa’s Unique Note Attack Method to read Music notes with Accuracy – 7 Days systematic program to Read 22 Music Notes..

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that #RMNFR2MNI7D is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Rosa Suen’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

For example, does the #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any #RMNFR2MNI7D lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Rosa Suen, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Rosa Suen’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Rosa Suen’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Rosa Suen before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether #RMNFR2MNI7D will be helpful for you.)

Are “#2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the #RMNFR2MNI7D page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to March 18, 2026, there were 137 students enrolled, 57 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.7 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate #RMNFR2MNI7D the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the #RMNFR2MNI7D reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Rosa Suen responsive to student questions in the #RMNFR2MNI7D training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their #RMNFR2MNI7D reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Rosa Suen a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought #RMNFR2MNI7D yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across #RMNFR2MNI7D while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days on your own, online?

This is a big one, because #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days.

Do the pros / benefits of #RMNFR2MNI7D make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of #RMNFR2MNI7D can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized

  • You join a community of 137 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that #RMNFR2MNI7D would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford #RMNFR2MNI7D?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think #RMNFR2MNI7D sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before March 18, 2026, the price was $14.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on #RMNFR2MNI7D with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Rosa Suen’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best #RMNFR2MNI7D course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting #RMNFR2MNI7D for a better price, but also with any other Rosa Suen Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a #RMNFR2MNI7D discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the #RMNFR2MNI7D training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days promo code” or “#2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “#2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days coupons” rather than “Rosa Suen coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you #RMNFR2MNI7D for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get #RMNFR2MNI7D for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Rosa Suen decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on #RMNFR2MNI7D, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the #RMNFR2MNI7D course.

How can you get a #RMNFR2MNI7D discount from Rosa Suen?

If you’re really serious about getting “#2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Rosa Suen, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Rosa Suen’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Rosa Suen’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time #RMNFR2MNI7D will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get #RMNFR2MNI7D for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the #RMNFR2MNI7D training is free!

For example, you might do a google search for “#2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days free coupon” or “#2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Rosa Suen has offered free coupons for #RMNFR2MNI7D in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a #RMNFR2MNI7D free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the #RMNFR2MNI7D training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download #RMNFR2MNI7D illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “#2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “#2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Rosa Suen created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 137 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the #RMNFR2MNI7D training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Rosa Suen’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on #RMNFR2MNI7D no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the #RMNFR2MNI7D training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Rosa Suen could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing #RMNFR2MNI7D and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of #2 Read Music Notes Fast: Read 22 Music Notes in 7 Days?

During this #RMNFR2MNI7D review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the #RMNFR2MNI7D training, the instructor, Rosa Suen, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.9 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Music Theory Grade 1 review for 2026

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about Music Theory Grade 1 as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use MTG1 as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Music Theory Grade 1 course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as MTG1 for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and MTG1 is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 20 characters long, including blanks, while MTG1 is 4 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 16 characters every time we use MTG1.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to MTG1 throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Music Theory Grade 1 course for you?

To determine whether Michael Luck’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Michael Luck’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Michael Luck chose for the course, “Music Theory Grade 1”, as well as its subtitle: “All you need to know to fast track to success with your grade 1 ABRSM theory exam.”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Michael Luck is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what MTG1 is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Michael Luck hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Music Theory Grade 1 is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Michael Luck’s official description of MTG1

This course of instruction covers the grade 1 ABRSM theory syllabus in full. Within the syllabus you will be shown the basic principles of music theory covering key areas which will enhance your understanding and lay the foundations for further study to higher grades if desired. The learning modules cover accidentals, adding missing bar lines, intervals, key signatures, major scales, notes & note values, questions on a melody, simple time signatures, single dotted notes & rests, the stave, tonic triads, treble & bass clef and writing a two-bar rhythm. The majority of the course is delivered via video tuition. However after each module you can use a vast array of relevant and informative resource material which includes questions with answers and an online test module for each subject which will automatically mark your answers. This course will provide you with a fast track opportunity to gain the necessary knowledge to pass the grade 1 theory exam. This knowledge will open up many doors for aspiring musicians. If you acquire a certain amount of understanding of the ‘nuts and bolts’ of theory you will be able to learn to read music with ease. Having an understanding of theory will increase your opportunities of playing music with others. If you read music you can join local groups, bands or orchestra’s and enjoy playing with like minded musicians. If you need to gain your grade 1 ABRSM theory exam or if you just wish to brush up on your theory knowledge, this course if for you. ABRSM currently works in over 90 different countries around the world so there is probably the opportunity for you to sit an exam wherever you maybe in the world.

See you in the course!

Does MTG1 pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Music Theory Grade 1 on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Michael Luck has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Music Theory Grade 1 appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with MTG1 above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Michael Luck do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Michael Luck’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Michael Luck sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the MTG1 course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Michael Luck’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Michael Luck, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Michael Luck’s Udemy bio

This syllabus is now often used as a prerequisite to enter performing arts universities. I am also a WJEC (Welsh Joint Education Committee) examiner marking the GCSE exam papers in Wales UK.

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about Michael Luck after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Michael Luck, did it make you more or less interested in taking the MTG1 course?

And did it make you feel like Michael Luck was more or less credible and qualified to teach Music Theory Grade 1?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the MTG1 lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Music Theory Grade 1 course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the MTG1 course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Michael Luck’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Music Theory Grade 1, as well as the course’s subtitle, All you need to know to fast track to success with your grade 1 ABRSM theory exam..

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that MTG1 is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Michael Luck’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

For example, does the Music Theory Grade 1 training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any MTG1 lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Michael Luck, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Michael Luck’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Michael Luck’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Music Theory Grade 1 will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Michael Luck before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether MTG1 will be helpful for you.)

Are “Music Theory Grade 1” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the MTG1 page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to March 18, 2026, there were 87 students enrolled, 37 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.7 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate MTG1 the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the MTG1 reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Michael Luck responsive to student questions in the MTG1 training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their MTG1 reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Michael Luck a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought MTG1 yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across MTG1 while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Music Theory Grade 1 on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Music Theory Grade 1 is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Music Theory Grade 1.

Do the pros / benefits of MTG1 make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Music Theory Grade 1 training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of MTG1 can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Michael Luck is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other MTG1 students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through MTG1 at your own pace
  • You join a community of 87 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that MTG1 would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford MTG1?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Music Theory Grade 1?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think MTG1 sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before March 18, 2026, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on MTG1 with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Music Theory Grade 1?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Music Theory Grade 1 discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Michael Luck’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best MTG1 course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting MTG1 for a better price, but also with any other Michael Luck Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a MTG1 discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the MTG1 training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Music Theory Grade 1 promo code” or “Music Theory Grade 1 udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Music Theory Grade 1 coupons” rather than “Michael Luck coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you MTG1 for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get MTG1 for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Michael Luck decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on MTG1, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the MTG1 course.

How can you get a MTG1 discount from Michael Luck?

If you’re really serious about getting “Music Theory Grade 1” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Michael Luck, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Michael Luck’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Music Theory Grade 1. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Michael Luck’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time MTG1 will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get MTG1 for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the MTG1 training is free!

For example, you might do a google search for “Music Theory Grade 1 free coupon” or “Music Theory Grade 1 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Michael Luck has offered free coupons for MTG1 in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a MTG1 free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the MTG1 training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download MTG1 illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Music Theory Grade 1 download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Music Theory Grade 1 free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Michael Luck created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 87 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Music Theory Grade 1 if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the MTG1 training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Michael Luck’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on MTG1 no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the MTG1 training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Michael Luck could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing MTG1 and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Music Theory Grade 1?

During this MTG1 review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the MTG1 training, the instructor, Michael Luck, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.8 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.
