Trumpet Lessons For Beginners review for 2026

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about Trumpet Lessons For Beginners as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use TLFB as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Trumpet Lessons For Beginners course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as TLFB for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and TLFB is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 29 characters long, including blanks, while TLFB is 4 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 25 characters every time we use TLFB.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to TLFB throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Trumpet Lessons For Beginners course for you?

To determine whether Todd Porter’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Todd Porter’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Todd Porter chose for the course, “Trumpet Lessons For Beginners”, as well as its subtitle: “Learn To Play The Trumpet In Just 30 Minutes Per Week! Practice Videos Included.”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Todd Porter is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what TLFB is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Todd Porter hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Trumpet Lessons For Beginners is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Todd Porter’s official description of TLFB

This is the perfect place to start for beginner trumpet players! Take all the guess work out of how and what to practice. This program comes with specially designed practice videos for each lesson.

Learn To Play The Trumpet Quickly And Easily Using The Music Coach Learning System.

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does TLFB pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Trumpet Lessons For Beginners on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Todd Porter has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Trumpet Lessons For Beginners appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with TLFB above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Todd Porter do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Todd Porter’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Todd Porter sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the TLFB course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Todd Porter’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Todd Porter, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Todd Porter’s Udemy bio

Multi-instrumentalist Todd Porter has been teaching music on several instruments for the past 15 years. In addition to teaching private lessons and workshops he is the horn section leader and arranger for the Bonified Truth, which backs up 2008 Toronto Blues Society winner Scott McCord (nominated for a 2010 Maple Blues Award for Best New Artist). He also leads The River Pilots, whose debut album reached the top 10 on the Canadian College radio Jazz charts in 2008 and was nominated for best World Music Song, and Best Country Music Song at the 2008 Ontario Independent music awards. The River Pilots Debut album was also featured on CBC Radio One shows, Disc Drive, Sunday Edition, and Fresh Air. Todd was a member of Toronto based Afro Funk group Mr. Something Something, where he toured Canada for two years (2004-2006) in support of their second album “The Edge”, which was nominated for a 2007 Juno award for best World music album

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about Todd Porter after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Todd Porter, did it make you more or less interested in taking the TLFB course?

And did it make you feel like Todd Porter was more or less credible and qualified to teach Trumpet Lessons For Beginners?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the TLFB lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Trumpet Lessons For Beginners course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the TLFB course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Todd Porter’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Trumpet Lessons For Beginners, as well as the course’s subtitle, Learn To Play The Trumpet In Just 30 Minutes Per Week! Practice Videos Included..

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that TLFB is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Todd Porter’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Todd Porter that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Todd Porter that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Trumpet Lessons For Beginners training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any TLFB lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Todd Porter, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Todd Porter’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Todd Porter’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Trumpet Lessons For Beginners will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Todd Porter before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether TLFB will be helpful for you.)

Are “Trumpet Lessons For Beginners” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the TLFB page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to June 02, 2026, there were 110 students enrolled, 37 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.1 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate TLFB the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the TLFB reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Todd Porter responsive to student questions in the TLFB training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their TLFB reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Todd Porter a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought TLFB yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across TLFB while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Trumpet Lessons For Beginners on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Trumpet Lessons For Beginners is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Trumpet Lessons For Beginners.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Todd Porter, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of TLFB make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Trumpet Lessons For Beginners training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of TLFB can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Todd Porter is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other TLFB students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through TLFB at your own pace
  • You join a community of 110 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that TLFB would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford TLFB?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Trumpet Lessons For Beginners?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think TLFB sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before June 02, 2026, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on TLFB with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Trumpet Lessons For Beginners?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Trumpet Lessons For Beginners discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Todd Porter’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best TLFB course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting TLFB for a better price, but also with any other Todd Porter Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a TLFB discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the TLFB training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Trumpet Lessons For Beginners promo code” or “Trumpet Lessons For Beginners udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Todd Porter’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Todd Porter Udemy coupons” or “Todd Porter course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Trumpet Lessons For Beginners coupons” rather than “Todd Porter coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you TLFB for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get TLFB for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Todd Porter decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on TLFB, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the TLFB course. Category one is an official Udemy coupon (which instructors can opt out of), while category two is a coupon offered directly by the instructor.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what kind of a coupon tag you’re dealing with (for example, “officially from Udemy” or “officially from the instructor”), as long as long as as you’re dealing with active coupons that get you a better price.

How can you get a TLFB discount from Todd Porter?

If you’re really serious about getting “Trumpet Lessons For Beginners” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Todd Porter, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Todd Porter’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Trumpet Lessons For Beginners. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Todd Porter’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time TLFB will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get TLFB for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the TLFB training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Todd Porter has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Trumpet Lessons For Beginners free coupon” or “Trumpet Lessons For Beginners 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Todd Porter has offered free coupons for TLFB in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a TLFB free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the TLFB training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download TLFB illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Trumpet Lessons For Beginners download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Trumpet Lessons For Beginners free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Todd Porter created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 110 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Trumpet Lessons For Beginners if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the TLFB training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Todd Porter’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on TLFB no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the TLFB training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Todd Porter could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing TLFB and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Trumpet Lessons For Beginners?

During this TLFB review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the TLFB training, the instructor, Todd Porter, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.4 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Brief course description

This course will introduce students to the very basics of violin playing and music theory. It starts with learning the parts of the instrument itself, applying music to the violin, and finally teaching how to play the classic “Twinkle Twinkle”. The terminology used will be explained in detail as the course progresses, and will be revisited throughout. This course is very video-intensive, with occasional power-points to emphasise certain material to help students achieve full understanding of the music theory covered in the class. The actual course will take about a week to accomplish. This time depends on how much time the student will devote to practicing the material outside of the actual video training. The course is structured in two sections. The first incorporates learning about the bow hold, the violin hold, proper positions, and bowing techniques. The second will focus on beats, in-depth music theory, and scales.

Learning an instrument is a fun way to exercise your creative muscles and the violin presents a challenge, but not a difficult challenge. The violin is a very diverse instrument. It can be played in the most beautiful symphonies, and can also transition into bluegrass music. Anyone who wants to learn violin at their own pace will excel during this course, as it will teach them all the basics they will need on their way to becoming a great violinist.

See you in the course!

Anthony Terrano bio

Hello! I was the concert violinist and first chair violinist for Windham High School in Maine for 4 years. In High School I was the leader of a string quartet and played for multiple orchestral events such as District II and Allstate. In college, I played for the Southern Maine Symphony Orchestra for 1 year and studied music education and violin performance. I also studied violin performance at 317 Maine Street School of Music in Yarmouth Maine. I have been studying intensive music theory and teaching students for 6 years. I teach using a method I created to interact with my students, find their interests, and take them on a journey in music theory and violin performance. My main focus is to incorporate basic music theory and a full understanding of the violin while learning how to play it and have fun doing so. I teach a wide age verity of students which makes Udemy the perfect site for me to teach. Some of my students range from 4-5 years old to 70 years old! I currently teach privately and I am hoping to one day own my own studio to teach in. I was awarded the Joanna Bell Memorial Scholarship for string performance in 2011.

How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide review for 2026

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use HTUG(TCG as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as HTUG(TCG for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and HTUG(TCG is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 48 characters long, including blanks, while HTUG(TCG is 8 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 40 characters every time we use HTUG(TCG.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to HTUG(TCG throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide course for you?

To determine whether Nat Pike’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Nat Pike’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Nat Pike chose for the course, “How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide”, as well as its subtitle: “Everything you need to know for a massive head start in music production.”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Nat Pike is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what HTUG(TCG is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Nat Pike hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Nat Pike’s official description of HTUG(TCG

This course is perfect for anyone who wants to get into music production but doesn’t know where to start. It will also be of great help to current macOS Garagaband users wanting to fill in gaps in their knowledge or to discover the full potential of what can be achieved with the software.

If you feel there is music in you that needs to be expressed, Garagband is the perfect tool to make your dream a reality. Learn everything you need to know to head a massive head start in one of the most exciting and ever changing fields that is digital music production.

Nat is currently an in house engineer at Salt Studios, Melbourne – Australia and teaches sound production and music business at The College of Sound and Music Production (COSAMP).

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does HTUG(TCG pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Nat Pike has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with HTUG(TCG above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Nat Pike do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Nat Pike’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Nat Pike sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the HTUG(TCG course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Nat Pike’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Nat Pike, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Nat Pike’s Udemy bio

Nat Pike is a certified sound production trainer and holds a Bachelors degree in Music (Sonic Arts). He has enjoyed working professionally as an electronic music producer and recording studio engineer for the past 15 years.

What did you think about Nat Pike after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Nat Pike, did it make you more or less interested in taking the HTUG(TCG course?

And did it make you feel like Nat Pike was more or less credible and qualified to teach How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the HTUG(TCG lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the HTUG(TCG course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Nat Pike’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide, as well as the course’s subtitle, Everything you need to know for a massive head start in music production..

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that HTUG(TCG is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Nat Pike’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Nat Pike that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Nat Pike that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any HTUG(TCG lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Nat Pike, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Nat Pike’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Nat Pike’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Nat Pike before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether HTUG(TCG will be helpful for you.)

Are “How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the HTUG(TCG page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to June 02, 2026, there were 703 students enrolled, 213 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.5 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate HTUG(TCG the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the HTUG(TCG reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Nat Pike responsive to student questions in the HTUG(TCG training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their HTUG(TCG reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Nat Pike a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought HTUG(TCG yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across HTUG(TCG while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide on your own, online?

This is a big one, because How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Nat Pike, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of HTUG(TCG make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of HTUG(TCG can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Nat Pike is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other HTUG(TCG students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through HTUG(TCG at your own pace
  • You join a community of 703 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that HTUG(TCG would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford HTUG(TCG?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think HTUG(TCG sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before June 02, 2026, the price was $15.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on HTUG(TCG with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Nat Pike’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best HTUG(TCG course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting HTUG(TCG for a better price, but also with any other Nat Pike Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a HTUG(TCG discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the HTUG(TCG training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide promo code” or “How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Nat Pike’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Nat Pike Udemy coupons” or “Nat Pike course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide coupons” rather than “Nat Pike coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you HTUG(TCG for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get HTUG(TCG for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Nat Pike decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on HTUG(TCG, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the HTUG(TCG course.

How can you get a HTUG(TCG discount from Nat Pike?

If you’re really serious about getting “How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Nat Pike, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Nat Pike’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Nat Pike’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time HTUG(TCG will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get HTUG(TCG for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the HTUG(TCG training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Nat Pike has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide free coupon” or “How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Nat Pike has offered free coupons for HTUG(TCG in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a HTUG(TCG free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the HTUG(TCG training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download HTUG(TCG illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Nat Pike created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 703 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the HTUG(TCG training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Nat Pike’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on HTUG(TCG no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the HTUG(TCG training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Nat Pike could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing HTUG(TCG and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of How To Use Garageband (macOS) The Complete Guide?

During this HTUG(TCG review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the HTUG(TCG training, the instructor, Nat Pike, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.9 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Brief course description

Most beginners think that you need to know thousands of chords to play thousands of songs. NOT SO! You really only need to know a handful of chords and a few strumming patterns to play thousands of rock, folks, blues and pop songs.

The reason guitar is the most popular instrument on the planet is because it’s the quickest and easiest instrument to learn how to play. You do NOT need to read music. You do NOT need to learn music theory. You do NOT need to struggle through exercises, or practice scales, or learn how to play Mary Had A Little Lamb.

Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More review for 2026

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use MTCP3-MKAM as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as MTCP3-MKAM for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and MTCP3-MKAM is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 56 characters long, including blanks, while MTCP3-MKAM is 10 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 46 characters every time we use MTCP3-MKAM.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to MTCP3-MKAM throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More course for you?

To determine whether Jason Allen’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Jason Allen’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Jason Allen chose for the course, “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More”, as well as its subtitle: “A Complete College-Level Music Theory Curriculum. This is Part 3: Minor keys, Circle of Fifths, and Compound Meters.”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Jason Allen is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what MTCP3-MKAM is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Jason Allen hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Jason Allen’s official description of MTCP3-MKAM

For years I’ve been teaching Music Theory in the college classroom. These classes I’m making for Udemy use the same syllabus I’ve used in my college classes for years, at a fraction of the cost. I believe anyone can learn Music Theory – and cost shouldn’t be a barrier.

Recently I was named as a semi-finalist for the Grammy Foundation’s Music Educator of the Year award because of my in-person university classes. Now I’m taking those classes to Udemy in an online format in order to reach more students, and give them the joy of Music Theory.

My approach to music theory is to minimize the memorization. Most of these concepts you can learn by just understanding why chords behave in certain ways. Once you understand those concepts, you can find any scale, key, or chord that exists. Even invent your own.

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does MTCP3-MKAM pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Jason Allen has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with MTCP3-MKAM above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Jason Allen do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Jason Allen’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Jason Allen sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the MTCP3-MKAM course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Jason Allen’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Jason Allen, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Jason Allen’s Udemy bio

J. Anthony Allen has worn the hats of composer, producer, songwriter, engineer, sound designer, DJ, remix artist, multi-media artist, performer, inventor, and entrepreneur. Allen is a versatile creator whose diverse project experience ranges from works written for the Minnesota Orchestra to pieces developed for film, TV, and radio. An innovator in the field of electronic performance, Allen performs on a set of “glove” controllers, which he has designed, built, and programmed by himself. When he’s not working as a solo artist, Allen is a serial collaborator. His primary collaborative vehicle is the group Ballet Mech, for which Allen is one of three producers.

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about Jason Allen after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Jason Allen, did it make you more or less interested in taking the MTCP3-MKAM course?

And did it make you feel like Jason Allen was more or less credible and qualified to teach Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the MTCP3-MKAM lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the MTCP3-MKAM course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Jason Allen’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More, as well as the course’s subtitle, A Complete College-Level Music Theory Curriculum. This is Part 3: Minor keys, Circle of Fifths, and Compound Meters..

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that MTCP3-MKAM is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Jason Allen’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Jason Allen that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Jason Allen that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any MTCP3-MKAM lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Jason Allen, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Jason Allen’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Jason Allen’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Jason Allen before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether MTCP3-MKAM will be helpful for you.)

Are “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the MTCP3-MKAM page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to June 02, 2026, there were 139 students enrolled, 65 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.9 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate MTCP3-MKAM the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the MTCP3-MKAM reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Jason Allen responsive to student questions in the MTCP3-MKAM training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their MTCP3-MKAM reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Jason Allen a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought MTCP3-MKAM yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across MTCP3-MKAM while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Jason Allen, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of MTCP3-MKAM make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of MTCP3-MKAM can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Jason Allen is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other MTCP3-MKAM students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through MTCP3-MKAM at your own pace
  • You join a community of 139 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that MTCP3-MKAM would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford MTCP3-MKAM?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think MTCP3-MKAM sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before June 02, 2026, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on MTCP3-MKAM with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Jason Allen’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best MTCP3-MKAM course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting MTCP3-MKAM for a better price, but also with any other Jason Allen Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a MTCP3-MKAM discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the MTCP3-MKAM training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More promo code” or “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Jason Allen’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Jason Allen Udemy coupons” or “Jason Allen course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More coupons” rather than “Jason Allen coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you MTCP3-MKAM for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get MTCP3-MKAM for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Jason Allen decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on MTCP3-MKAM, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the MTCP3-MKAM course.

How can you get a MTCP3-MKAM discount from Jason Allen?

If you’re really serious about getting “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Jason Allen, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Jason Allen’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Jason Allen’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time MTCP3-MKAM will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get MTCP3-MKAM for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the MTCP3-MKAM training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Jason Allen has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More free coupon” or “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Jason Allen has offered free coupons for MTCP3-MKAM in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a MTCP3-MKAM free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the MTCP3-MKAM training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download MTCP3-MKAM illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Jason Allen created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 139 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the MTCP3-MKAM training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Jason Allen’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on MTCP3-MKAM no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the MTCP3-MKAM training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Jason Allen could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing MTCP3-MKAM and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 3 – Minor Keys and More?

During this MTCP3-MKAM review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the MTCP3-MKAM training, the instructor, Jason Allen, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.9 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use PPBETS as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as PPBETS for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and PPBETS is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 36 characters long, including blanks, while PPBETS is 6 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 30 characters every time we use PPBETS.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to PPBETS throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse course for you?

To determine whether Daniel Strong’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Daniel Strong’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Daniel Strong chose for the course, “Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse”, as well as its subtitle: “The Ultimate Piano Chording and Ear Training Course”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Daniel Strong is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what PPBETS is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Daniel Strong hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Daniel Strong’s official description of PPBETS

Have you ever wanted to play Piano, but didn’t think you have the time or didn’t want to waste YEARS of your life taking private lessons just to play Beethoven and stuff you don’t even listen to?

What you really need is a way to learn Piano at your own pace that will allow you to begin playing REAL songs that you love almost immediately – with the “Play Piano by Ear Today!” SuperCourse!

In this course, you’ll learn the key ingredient to any modern song – chords. The real secret to piano is that ALL modern music is made from patterns called chord progressions that you can easily learn to identify. In fact, Most songs only utilize 2 to 5 simple chords and there are only a handful of patterns to choose from.

Does PPBETS pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Daniel Strong has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with PPBETS above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Daniel Strong do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Daniel Strong’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Daniel Strong sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the PPBETS course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Daniel Strong’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Daniel Strong, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Daniel Strong’s Udemy bio

Hi! My name is Daniel and i’m 29. I’ve lived most my life in Scott City, Missouri, United States. I’ve been using Excel since my early teens, and very early on realized that I absolutely love it. After working on various projects in my spare time for years, improving the lives of those that used my programs, I knew this was more than just a hobby for me; it’s my passion. A few years back, I got my first opportunity to program in Excel, but when I landed the job I was asked to re-write my predecessor’s coded programs with fancy databases and automated Crystal reports! I found my Excel skills somewhat lacking. I HAD TO LEARN VBA! I studied and studied what I could online and in books, but I wasn’t able to learn much that way. I had to dive into my first project for months and months – basically just teaching myself and “figuring it out”. I realized that if only someone was out there teaching Excel VBA like Mike Gervin (ExcelIsFun) taught Excel, making everything simple and visual – then Anyone could learn VBA! I started a YouTube channel, mostly for myself as a reference tool, but people started to bite. People flooded my inbox with questions and comments that I was literally changing their lives for the better. My passion is and always has been teaching, and I’ve turned thousands of people into Excel programmers. Now, with Udemy, I’m going to teach the good stuff – the stuff I kept secret; the Advanced and “not-so-Advanced-but-Awesome” Excel VBA. The things that make people hire you – that make you irresistable and irreplacable. Building REAL Programs, Advanced Reporting and Data Analysis. Dashboards and live data. Automation. My main focus is to create an online community of professional Excel VBA developers and beginners who create Real Programs, solve Real Problems and change Real Lives.

What did you think about Daniel Strong after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Daniel Strong, did it make you more or less interested in taking the PPBETS course?

And did it make you feel like Daniel Strong was more or less credible and qualified to teach Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the PPBETS lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the PPBETS course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Daniel Strong’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse, as well as the course’s subtitle, The Ultimate Piano Chording and Ear Training Course.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that PPBETS is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Daniel Strong’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Daniel Strong that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Daniel Strong that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any PPBETS lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Daniel Strong, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Daniel Strong’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Daniel Strong’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Daniel Strong before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether PPBETS will be helpful for you.)

Are “Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the PPBETS page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to June 02, 2026, there were 206 students enrolled, 91 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.2 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate PPBETS the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the PPBETS reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Daniel Strong responsive to student questions in the PPBETS training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their PPBETS reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Daniel Strong a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought PPBETS yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across PPBETS while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Daniel Strong, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of PPBETS make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of PPBETS can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Daniel Strong is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other PPBETS students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through PPBETS at your own pace
  • You join a community of 206 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that PPBETS would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford PPBETS?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think PPBETS sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before June 02, 2026, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on PPBETS with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Daniel Strong’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best PPBETS course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting PPBETS for a better price, but also with any other Daniel Strong Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a PPBETS discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the PPBETS training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse promo code” or “Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Daniel Strong’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Daniel Strong Udemy coupons” or “Daniel Strong course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse coupons” rather than “Daniel Strong coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you PPBETS for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get PPBETS for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Daniel Strong decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on PPBETS, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the PPBETS course.

How can you get a PPBETS discount from Daniel Strong?

If you’re really serious about getting “Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Daniel Strong, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Daniel Strong’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Daniel Strong’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time PPBETS will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get PPBETS for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the PPBETS training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Daniel Strong has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse free coupon” or “Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Daniel Strong has offered free coupons for PPBETS in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a PPBETS free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the PPBETS training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download PPBETS illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Daniel Strong created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 206 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the PPBETS training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Daniel Strong’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on PPBETS no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the PPBETS training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Daniel Strong could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing PPBETS and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Play Piano by Ear Today! SuperCourse?

During this PPBETS review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the PPBETS training, the instructor, Daniel Strong, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.7 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.
