How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero review for 2025

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use HTCMLABGFZTH as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as HTCMLABGFZTH for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and HTCMLABGFZTH is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 54 characters long, including blanks, while HTCMLABGFZTH is 12 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 42 characters every time we use HTCMLABGFZTH.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to HTCMLABGFZTH throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero course for you?

To determine whether Tyrone Caballero’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Tyrone Caballero’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Tyrone Caballero chose for the course, “How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero”, as well as its subtitle: “Learn my straight forward approach to compose tons of new music creatively, effortlessly & destroy self-doubt forever!”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Tyrone Caballero is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what HTCMLABGFZTH is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Tyrone Caballero hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Tyrone Caballero’s official description of HTCMLABGFZTH

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does HTCMLABGFZTH pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Tyrone Caballero has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with HTCMLABGFZTH above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Tyrone Caballero do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Tyrone Caballero’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Tyrone Caballero sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the HTCMLABGFZTH course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Tyrone Caballero’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Tyrone Caballero, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Tyrone Caballero’s Udemy bio

Hi there! My name is Tyrone Caballero. I graduated from a high profile school in the Philippines, I love to travel and I also love to try different cuisines. Currently, I’m still working in our family business, trading agricultural stuff and doing some online freelance work as well.

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about Tyrone Caballero after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Tyrone Caballero, did it make you more or less interested in taking the HTCMLABGFZTH course?

And did it make you feel like Tyrone Caballero was more or less credible and qualified to teach How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the HTCMLABGFZTH lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the HTCMLABGFZTH course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Tyrone Caballero’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero, as well as the course’s subtitle, Learn my straight forward approach to compose tons of new music creatively, effortlessly & destroy self-doubt forever!.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that HTCMLABGFZTH is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Tyrone Caballero’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Tyrone Caballero that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Tyrone Caballero that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any HTCMLABGFZTH lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Tyrone Caballero, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Tyrone Caballero’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Tyrone Caballero’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Tyrone Caballero before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether HTCMLABGFZTH will be helpful for you.)

Are “How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the HTCMLABGFZTH page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to October 10, 2025, there were 61 students enrolled, 28 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 3.4 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate HTCMLABGFZTH the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the HTCMLABGFZTH reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Tyrone Caballero responsive to student questions in the HTCMLABGFZTH training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their HTCMLABGFZTH reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Tyrone Caballero a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought HTCMLABGFZTH yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across HTCMLABGFZTH while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero on your own, online?

This is a big one, because How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Tyrone Caballero, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of HTCMLABGFZTH make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of HTCMLABGFZTH can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Tyrone Caballero is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other HTCMLABGFZTH students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through HTCMLABGFZTH at your own pace
  • You join a community of 61 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that HTCMLABGFZTH would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford HTCMLABGFZTH?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think HTCMLABGFZTH sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before October 10, 2025, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on HTCMLABGFZTH with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Tyrone Caballero’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best HTCMLABGFZTH course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting HTCMLABGFZTH for a better price, but also with any other Tyrone Caballero Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a HTCMLABGFZTH discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the HTCMLABGFZTH training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero promo code” or “How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Tyrone Caballero’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Tyrone Caballero Udemy coupons” or “Tyrone Caballero course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero coupons” rather than “Tyrone Caballero coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you HTCMLABGFZTH for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get HTCMLABGFZTH for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Tyrone Caballero decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on HTCMLABGFZTH, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the HTCMLABGFZTH course. Category one is an official Udemy coupon (which instructors can opt out of), while category two is a coupon offered directly by the instructor.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what kind of a coupon tag you’re dealing with (for example, “officially from Udemy” or “officially from the instructor”), as long as long as as you’re dealing with active coupons that get you a better price.

How can you get a HTCMLABGFZTH discount from Tyrone Caballero?

If you’re really serious about getting “How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Tyrone Caballero, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Tyrone Caballero’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Tyrone Caballero’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time HTCMLABGFZTH will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get HTCMLABGFZTH for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the HTCMLABGFZTH training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Tyrone Caballero has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero free coupon” or “How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Tyrone Caballero has offered free coupons for HTCMLABGFZTH in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a HTCMLABGFZTH free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the HTCMLABGFZTH training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download HTCMLABGFZTH illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Tyrone Caballero created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 61 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the HTCMLABGFZTH training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Tyrone Caballero’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on HTCMLABGFZTH no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the HTCMLABGFZTH training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Tyrone Caballero could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing HTCMLABGFZTH and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of How to Compose Music Like A Boss: Go From Zero to Hero?

During this HTCMLABGFZTH review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the HTCMLABGFZTH training, the instructor, Tyrone Caballero, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 3.5 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Play Modern Blues Now review for 2025

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about Play Modern Blues Now as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use PMBN as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Play Modern Blues Now course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as PMBN for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and PMBN is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 21 characters long, including blanks, while PMBN is 4 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 17 characters every time we use PMBN.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to PMBN throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Play Modern Blues Now course for you?

To determine whether Steve Stine’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Steve Stine’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Steve Stine chose for the course, “Play Modern Blues Now”, as well as its subtitle: “Take your playing to the next level using proven effective methods simplified so you can play amazing modern blues ASAP.”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Steve Stine is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what PMBN is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Steve Stine hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Play Modern Blues Now is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Steve Stine’s official description of PMBN

Play Modern Blues Now is an practical modern blues or “fusion” course taught by Steve Stine, Professor of Modern Guitar Studies at North Dakota State University.

You’ll learn everything you need to know to become a complete, well-rounded guitarist who can…

Start from the blues basics like the 12-bar blues and I-IV-V progression and move on to learn advance tricks and techniques like:

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does PMBN pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Play Modern Blues Now on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Steve Stine has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Play Modern Blues Now appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with PMBN above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Steve Stine do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Steve Stine’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Steve Stine sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the PMBN course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Steve Stine’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Steve Stine, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Steve Stine’s Udemy bio

If you haven’t heard of Steve before, just know that he’s very well known at North Dakota State University and is a highly sought-after Professor of Modern Guitar.

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about Steve Stine after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Steve Stine, did it make you more or less interested in taking the PMBN course?

And did it make you feel like Steve Stine was more or less credible and qualified to teach Play Modern Blues Now?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the PMBN lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Play Modern Blues Now course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the PMBN course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Steve Stine’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Play Modern Blues Now, as well as the course’s subtitle, Take your playing to the next level using proven effective methods simplified so you can play amazing modern blues ASAP..

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that PMBN is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Steve Stine’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Steve Stine that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Steve Stine that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Play Modern Blues Now training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any PMBN lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Steve Stine, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Steve Stine’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Steve Stine’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Play Modern Blues Now will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Steve Stine before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether PMBN will be helpful for you.)

Are “Play Modern Blues Now” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the PMBN page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to October 10, 2025, there were 1,452 students enrolled, 518 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.6 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate PMBN the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the PMBN reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Steve Stine responsive to student questions in the PMBN training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their PMBN reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Steve Stine a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought PMBN yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across PMBN while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Play Modern Blues Now on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Play Modern Blues Now is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Play Modern Blues Now.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Steve Stine, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of PMBN make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Play Modern Blues Now training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of PMBN can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Steve Stine is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other PMBN students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through PMBN at your own pace
  • You join a community of 1,452 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that PMBN would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford PMBN?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Play Modern Blues Now?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think PMBN sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before October 10, 2025, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on PMBN with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Play Modern Blues Now?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Play Modern Blues Now discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Steve Stine’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best PMBN course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting PMBN for a better price, but also with any other Steve Stine Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a PMBN discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the PMBN training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Play Modern Blues Now promo code” or “Play Modern Blues Now udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Steve Stine’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Steve Stine Udemy coupons” or “Steve Stine course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Play Modern Blues Now coupons” rather than “Steve Stine coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you PMBN for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get PMBN for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Steve Stine decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on PMBN, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the PMBN course.

How can you get a PMBN discount from Steve Stine?

If you’re really serious about getting “Play Modern Blues Now” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Steve Stine, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Steve Stine’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Play Modern Blues Now. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Steve Stine’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time PMBN will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get PMBN for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the PMBN training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Steve Stine has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Play Modern Blues Now free coupon” or “Play Modern Blues Now 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Steve Stine has offered free coupons for PMBN in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a PMBN free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the PMBN training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download PMBN illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Play Modern Blues Now download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Play Modern Blues Now free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Steve Stine created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 1,452 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Play Modern Blues Now if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the PMBN training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Steve Stine’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on PMBN no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the PMBN training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Steve Stine could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing PMBN and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Play Modern Blues Now?

During this PMBN review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the PMBN training, the instructor, Steve Stine, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.7 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques review for 2025

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use RSM&BL&RGT as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as RSM&BL&RGT for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and RSM&BL&RGT is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 58 characters long, including blanks, while RSM&BL&RGT is 10 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 48 characters every time we use RSM&BL&RGT.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to RSM&BL&RGT throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques course for you?

To determine whether David Taub’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what David Taub’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that David Taub chose for the course, “R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques”, as well as its subtitle: “Learn classic blues, R&B, Soul, and Motown lead and rhythm concepts, devices, and techniques”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if David Taub is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what RSM&BL&RGT is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means David Taub hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of David Taub’s official description of RSM&BL&RGT

In this course you will learn all types of rhythm and lead guitar devices and concepts for blues, rhythm and blues, Motown, and soul guitar. If you are tired of always playing the same things, and tired of always playing the same chords the same ways, with the same rhythms, then this course can help you break out of that rut and open your playing to more creative pathways. This course will give your chord playing more freedom and open the flood gates to all kinds of new chord, rhythm, and lead guitar ideas.

This course is taught by popular Next Level Guitar instructor Ben Zinn. The lessons in this course are in that very timeless and classic bluesy, R&B, style. This style has strongly influenced today’s modern blues players as well as the classic blues guitarists of the past. This course is all about teaching you to play different things and getting you “outside the box.” This course will also help you develop licks and fills to play in between your rhythms. This way, you can play cool and interesting rhythms but insert all kinds of licks and rhythmic devices to dress up your playing. We make it easy to incorporate these techniques and devices into your own blues rhythm and lead playing. Plus, we teach you how to take the timeless classic techniques and utilize them in a more modern R&B approach. And in our bonus lesson we teach how you can get a great, classic blues tone. You’ll also all about the guitars, gear, pickups, amps, effects, and how to dial in great tone. This course comes with seven HD video lessons, along with six practice and review downloadable PDFs — one each for the first six lessons. These PDFs include lesson reviews, chord charts, tabs, and practice tips and exercises. You also get three downloadable jam tracks. Most importantly, these three backing tracks are the exact same tracks that are utilized in the video lessons. This makes it even easier and more enjoyable to practice and apply the techniques in a real musical context.  You also get three additional bonus jam tracks so that you can work on these concepts in different keys. These tracks sound great, are custom-made for educational purposes, and are very motivating and empowering to practice over. You will also get two eBooks that will take you into a deep dive into these concepts as you move your playing forward. These eBooks are packed with lessons, scale diagrams, chord charts, application practice and more. You get our fully illustrated, full color 38-page “Blues Rock Soloing” eBook and our “Chord Building, Key Signature, & Songwriting Basics For Guitar” eBook. These are comprehensive reference manuals you will use often throughout your guitar journey. They are packed with scale diagrams, soloing strategies, music theory, modal lessons, chord charts, key charts, practice tips, and even more killer lessons.Throughout this course you will learn:-How to modify chords and play them in fresh new ways.

-How to add fills to your rhythms and spice up your chord progressions.

Does RSM&BL&RGT pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, David Taub has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with RSM&BL&RGT above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did David Taub do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, David Taub’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does David Taub sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the RSM&BL&RGT course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, David Taub’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including David Taub, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

What did you think about David Taub after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about David Taub, did it make you more or less interested in taking the RSM&BL&RGT course?

And did it make you feel like David Taub was more or less credible and qualified to teach R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the RSM&BL&RGT lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the RSM&BL&RGT course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing David Taub’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques, as well as the course’s subtitle, Learn classic blues, R&B, Soul, and Motown lead and rhythm concepts, devices, and techniques.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that RSM&BL&RGT is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in David Taub’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from David Taub that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from David Taub that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any RSM&BL&RGT lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by David Taub, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of David Taub’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with David Taub’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from David Taub before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether RSM&BL&RGT will be helpful for you.)

Are “R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the RSM&BL&RGT page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to October 10, 2025, there were 145 students enrolled, 57 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.4 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate RSM&BL&RGT the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the RSM&BL&RGT reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is David Taub responsive to student questions in the RSM&BL&RGT training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their RSM&BL&RGT reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send David Taub a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought RSM&BL&RGT yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across RSM&BL&RGT while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques on your own, online?

This is a big one, because R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, David Taub, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of RSM&BL&RGT make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of RSM&BL&RGT can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • David Taub is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other RSM&BL&RGT students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through RSM&BL&RGT at your own pace
  • You join a community of 145 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that RSM&BL&RGT would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford RSM&BL&RGT?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think RSM&BL&RGT sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before October 10, 2025, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on RSM&BL&RGT with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for David Taub’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best RSM&BL&RGT course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting RSM&BL&RGT for a better price, but also with any other David Taub Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a RSM&BL&RGT discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the RSM&BL&RGT training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques promo code” or “R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with David Taub’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “David Taub Udemy coupons” or “David Taub course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques coupons” rather than “David Taub coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you RSM&BL&RGT for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get RSM&BL&RGT for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if David Taub decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on RSM&BL&RGT, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the RSM&BL&RGT course.

How can you get a RSM&BL&RGT discount from David Taub?

If you’re really serious about getting “R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from David Taub, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get David Taub’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join David Taub’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time RSM&BL&RGT will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get RSM&BL&RGT for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the RSM&BL&RGT training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that David Taub has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques free coupon” or “R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even David Taub has offered free coupons for RSM&BL&RGT in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a RSM&BL&RGT free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the RSM&BL&RGT training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download RSM&BL&RGT illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, David Taub created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 145 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the RSM&BL&RGT training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into David Taub’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on RSM&BL&RGT no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the RSM&BL&RGT training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing David Taub could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing RSM&BL&RGT and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of R&B, Soul, Motown, & Blues Lead & Rhythm Guitar Techniques?

During this RSM&BL&RGT review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the RSM&BL&RGT training, the instructor, David Taub, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.9 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar review for 2025

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use GTBFLG as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as GTBFLG for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and GTBFLG is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 40 characters long, including blanks, while GTBFLG is 6 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 34 characters every time we use GTBFLG.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to GTBFLG throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar course for you?

To determine whether Chris Basener’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Chris Basener’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Chris Basener chose for the course, “Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar”, as well as its subtitle: “Learn the Picking Techniques and Strategies of the Pros. Boost your Lead Guitar Skills. For Blues, Rock, Metal & beyond”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Chris Basener is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what GTBFLG is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Chris Basener hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Chris Basener’s official description of GTBFLG

INJECT A DOSE OF AWESOMENESS INTO YOUR GUITAR SOLOS

Give your guitar technique a shot in the arm and become a killer lead guitarist. This course is going to show you the essential picking techniques that will sharpen your skills, reveal some closely guarded trade secrets and help you play better guitar solos.

Over 600 students have already enrolled in this course!

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does GTBFLG pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Chris Basener has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with GTBFLG above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Chris Basener do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Chris Basener’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Chris Basener sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the GTBFLG course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Chris Basener’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Chris Basener, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Chris Basener’s Udemy bio

Hi, I’m Chris Basener.

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about Chris Basener after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Chris Basener, did it make you more or less interested in taking the GTBFLG course?

And did it make you feel like Chris Basener was more or less credible and qualified to teach Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the GTBFLG lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the GTBFLG course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Chris Basener’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar, as well as the course’s subtitle, Learn the Picking Techniques and Strategies of the Pros. Boost your Lead Guitar Skills. For Blues, Rock, Metal & beyond.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that GTBFLG is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Chris Basener’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Chris Basener that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Chris Basener that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any GTBFLG lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Chris Basener, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Chris Basener’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Chris Basener’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Chris Basener before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether GTBFLG will be helpful for you.)

Are “Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the GTBFLG page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to October 10, 2025, there were 94 students enrolled, 35 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.5 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate GTBFLG the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the GTBFLG reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Chris Basener responsive to student questions in the GTBFLG training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their GTBFLG reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Chris Basener a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought GTBFLG yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across GTBFLG while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Chris Basener, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of GTBFLG make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of GTBFLG can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized

  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that GTBFLG would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford GTBFLG?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think GTBFLG sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

For example, you might do a Google search for “Chris Basener Udemy coupons” or “Chris Basener course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Chris Basener has offered free coupons for GTBFLG in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a GTBFLG free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the GTBFLG training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download GTBFLG illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Chris Basener created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 94 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the GTBFLG training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Chris Basener’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on GTBFLG no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the GTBFLG training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Chris Basener could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing GTBFLG and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Guitar Technique Booster For Lead Guitar?

During this GTBFLG review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the GTBFLG training, the instructor, Chris Basener, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.7 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations review for 2025

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use CATKWTPV as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as CATKWTPV for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and CATKWTPV is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 52 characters long, including blanks, while CATKWTPV is 8 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 44 characters every time we use CATKWTPV.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to CATKWTPV throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations course for you?

To determine whether Mister Musicarta’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Mister Musicarta’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Mister Musicarta chose for the course, “Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations”, as well as its subtitle: “Learn an easy, flexible hand position to play chords from chord symbols and learn the basics of improvising music.”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Mister Musicarta is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what CATKWTPV is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Mister Musicarta hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Mister Musicarta’s official description of CATKWTPV

The Pyramids Variations (Learn to Improvise on a Chord Sequence) is about being able to “just sit down and play” the piano – like a guitarist can just pick up the guitar and strum a few chords. (In fact, “strumming the piano” wouldn’t be a bad course subtitle!)

The first part of the course coaches you to an impressive ‘Concert Performance’ piano solo based on a simple hand position. The second half goes on to show how you can become a creative ‘composer at the keyboard’ by varying and recombining the musical building blocks you’ve mastered.

Lessons consist of videos with related web pages hosting audio and video example performances and pdf lesson notes.

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does CATKWTPV pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Mister Musicarta has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with CATKWTPV above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Mister Musicarta do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Mister Musicarta’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Mister Musicarta sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the CATKWTPV course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Mister Musicarta’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Mister Musicarta, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Mister Musicarta’s Udemy bio

Bob Chappell (aka Mister Musicarta) has been “messing round with chords” since he got turfed off the school piano for playing four-handed boogie with a pal. A lifetime musician, playing for functions and ballet class and every modern style under the sun, Bob now teaches and plays in Cape Town, South Africa.

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about Mister Musicarta after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Mister Musicarta, did it make you more or less interested in taking the CATKWTPV course?

And did it make you feel like Mister Musicarta was more or less credible and qualified to teach Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the CATKWTPV lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the CATKWTPV course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Mister Musicarta’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations, as well as the course’s subtitle, Learn an easy, flexible hand position to play chords from chord symbols and learn the basics of improvising music..

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that CATKWTPV is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Mister Musicarta’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Mister Musicarta that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Mister Musicarta that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any CATKWTPV lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Mister Musicarta, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Mister Musicarta’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Mister Musicarta’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Mister Musicarta before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether CATKWTPV will be helpful for you.)

Are “Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the CATKWTPV page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to October 10, 2025, there were 48 students enrolled, 23 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.1 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate CATKWTPV the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the CATKWTPV reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Mister Musicarta responsive to student questions in the CATKWTPV training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their CATKWTPV reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Mister Musicarta a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought CATKWTPV yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across CATKWTPV while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Mister Musicarta, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of CATKWTPV make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of CATKWTPV can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Mister Musicarta is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other CATKWTPV students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through CATKWTPV at your own pace
  • You join a community of 48 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that CATKWTPV would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford CATKWTPV?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think CATKWTPV sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before October 10, 2025, the price was $18.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on CATKWTPV with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Mister Musicarta’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best CATKWTPV course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting CATKWTPV for a better price, but also with any other Mister Musicarta Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a CATKWTPV discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the CATKWTPV training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations promo code” or “Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Mister Musicarta’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Mister Musicarta Udemy coupons” or “Mister Musicarta course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations coupons” rather than “Mister Musicarta coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you CATKWTPV for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get CATKWTPV for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Mister Musicarta decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on CATKWTPV, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the CATKWTPV course.

How can you get a CATKWTPV discount from Mister Musicarta?

If you’re really serious about getting “Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Mister Musicarta, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Mister Musicarta’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Mister Musicarta’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time CATKWTPV will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get CATKWTPV for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the CATKWTPV training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Mister Musicarta has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations free coupon” or “Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Mister Musicarta has offered free coupons for CATKWTPV in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a CATKWTPV free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the CATKWTPV training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download CATKWTPV illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Mister Musicarta created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 48 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Compose at the Keyboard with the Pyramids Variations if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the CATKWTPV training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Mister Musicarta’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on CATKWTPV no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the CATKWTPV training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Mister Musicarta could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing CATKWTPV and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

Can you understand what Trey Xavier’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Trey Xavier chose for the course, “RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System”, as well as its subtitle: “Learn scales fast, with no music theory required!”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Trey Xavier is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what RCGSLS is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Trey Xavier hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Trey Xavier’s official description of RCGSLS

Welcome to RelationShapes, the only guitar scale system you’ll ever need! In this series, I teach you my system for learning 3-note-per-string scales on the guitar, and a simple set of rules so you can know where you are within those scales all the time, so you can know where to go next. I’ll cover the major scale and all its modes, the harmonic minor scale and all its modes, the melodic minor scale and all its modes, and symmetrical scales like diminished and whole tone scales.

Most importantly, it’s not just a bunch of notes to memorize – it’s a way of breaking down the scales into the smallest units and applying some logic so you always know where you are and how to get to where you want to be. Most scale systems are just a ton of rote memorization – but RelationShapes is a map AND how to read it! It’s a complete method for learning and practicing scales for the guitar, no matter how many strings there are on your axe, or what style of music you play.

See you in the course!

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does RCGSLS pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Trey Xavier has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with RCGSLS above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Trey Xavier do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Trey Xavier’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Trey Xavier sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the RCGSLS course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Trey Xavier’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Trey Xavier, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Trey Xavier’s Udemy bio

You may know me primarily as the Editor in Chief of Gear Gods, or as the guitarist of In Virtue. As a longtime guitar teacher (10+ years), Berklee college of music alumni and graduate of the Sonoma State University music program, I’ve got the knowledge and simple methods to help you become the best guitarist and musician you can be!

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about Trey Xavier after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Trey Xavier, did it make you more or less interested in taking the RCGSLS course?

And did it make you feel like Trey Xavier was more or less credible and qualified to teach RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the RCGSLS lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the RCGSLS course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Trey Xavier’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System, as well as the course’s subtitle, Learn scales fast, with no music theory required!.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that RCGSLS is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Trey Xavier’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Trey Xavier that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Trey Xavier that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any RCGSLS lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Trey Xavier, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Trey Xavier’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Trey Xavier’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Trey Xavier before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether RCGSLS will be helpful for you.)

Are “RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the RCGSLS page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to October 10, 2025, there were 1,474 students enrolled, 508 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.8 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate RCGSLS the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the RCGSLS reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Trey Xavier responsive to student questions in the RCGSLS training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their RCGSLS reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Trey Xavier a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought RCGSLS yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across RCGSLS while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System on your own, online?

This is a big one, because RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Trey Xavier, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of RCGSLS make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of RCGSLS can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Trey Xavier is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other RCGSLS students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through RCGSLS at your own pace
  • You join a community of 1,474 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that RCGSLS would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford RCGSLS?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think RCGSLS sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before October 10, 2025, the price was $49.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on RCGSLS with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Trey Xavier’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best RCGSLS course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting RCGSLS for a better price, but also with any other Trey Xavier Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a RCGSLS discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the RCGSLS training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System promo code” or “RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Trey Xavier’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Trey Xavier Udemy coupons” or “Trey Xavier course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System coupons” rather than “Trey Xavier coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you RCGSLS for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get RCGSLS for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Trey Xavier decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on RCGSLS, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the RCGSLS course.

How can you get a RCGSLS discount from Trey Xavier?

If you’re really serious about getting “RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Trey Xavier, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Trey Xavier’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Trey Xavier’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time RCGSLS will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get RCGSLS for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the RCGSLS training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Trey Xavier has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System free coupon” or “RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Trey Xavier has offered free coupons for RCGSLS in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a RCGSLS free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the RCGSLS training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download RCGSLS illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Trey Xavier created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 1,474 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the RCGSLS training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Trey Xavier’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on RCGSLS no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the RCGSLS training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Trey Xavier could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing RCGSLS and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of RelationShapes: Complete Guitar Scales Learning System?

During this RCGSLS review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the RCGSLS training, the instructor, Trey Xavier, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.9 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Piano Finger Exercise Lessons review for 2025

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about Piano Finger Exercise Lessons as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use PFEL as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Piano Finger Exercise Lessons course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as PFEL for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and PFEL is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 29 characters long, including blanks, while PFEL is 4 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 25 characters every time we use PFEL.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to PFEL throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Piano Finger Exercise Lessons course for you?

To determine whether Micah Blake’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Micah Blake’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Micah Blake chose for the course, “Piano Finger Exercise Lessons”, as well as its subtitle: “An Easy guide for beginners to advanced students to get their fingers to respond to their every thought.”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Micah Blake is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what PFEL is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Micah Blake hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Piano Finger Exercise Lessons is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Micah Blake’s official description of PFEL

If you want to play the piano more fluently, then this course will give you the resources to achieve that goal. We have several ways to learn, including videos, sheet music, and finger exercises. Beginners as young as 4 can use it to start getting the muscle memory to become a great pianist, but it can help players at any level.

Try this course out if you want more speed and accuracy in your piano playing.

See you in the course!

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does PFEL pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Piano Finger Exercise Lessons on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Micah Blake has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Piano Finger Exercise Lessons appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with PFEL above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Micah Blake do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Micah Blake’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Micah Blake sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the PFEL course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Micah Blake’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Micah Blake, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

What did you think about Micah Blake after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Micah Blake, did it make you more or less interested in taking the PFEL course?

And did it make you feel like Micah Blake was more or less credible and qualified to teach Piano Finger Exercise Lessons?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the PFEL lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Piano Finger Exercise Lessons course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the PFEL course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Micah Blake’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Piano Finger Exercise Lessons, as well as the course’s subtitle, An Easy guide for beginners to advanced students to get their fingers to respond to their every thought..

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that PFEL is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Micah Blake’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Micah Blake that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Micah Blake that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Piano Finger Exercise Lessons training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any PFEL lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Micah Blake, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Micah Blake’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Micah Blake’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Piano Finger Exercise Lessons will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Micah Blake before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether PFEL will be helpful for you.)

Are “Piano Finger Exercise Lessons” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the PFEL page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to October 10, 2025, there were 65 students enrolled, 26 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate PFEL the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the PFEL reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Micah Blake responsive to student questions in the PFEL training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their PFEL reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Micah Blake a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought PFEL yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across PFEL while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Piano Finger Exercise Lessons on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Piano Finger Exercise Lessons is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Piano Finger Exercise Lessons.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Micah Blake, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of PFEL make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Piano Finger Exercise Lessons training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of PFEL can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Micah Blake is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other PFEL students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through PFEL at your own pace
  • You join a community of 65 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that PFEL would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford PFEL?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Piano Finger Exercise Lessons?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think PFEL sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before October 10, 2025, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on PFEL with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Piano Finger Exercise Lessons?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Piano Finger Exercise Lessons discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Micah Blake’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best PFEL course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting PFEL for a better price, but also with any other Micah Blake Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a PFEL discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the PFEL training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Piano Finger Exercise Lessons promo code” or “Piano Finger Exercise Lessons udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Micah Blake’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Micah Blake Udemy coupons” or “Micah Blake course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Piano Finger Exercise Lessons coupons” rather than “Micah Blake coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you PFEL for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get PFEL for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Micah Blake decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on PFEL, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the PFEL course.

How can you get a PFEL discount from Micah Blake?

If you’re really serious about getting “Piano Finger Exercise Lessons” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Micah Blake, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Micah Blake’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Piano Finger Exercise Lessons. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Micah Blake’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time PFEL will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get PFEL for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the PFEL training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Micah Blake has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Piano Finger Exercise Lessons free coupon” or “Piano Finger Exercise Lessons 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Micah Blake has offered free coupons for PFEL in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a PFEL free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the PFEL training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download PFEL illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Piano Finger Exercise Lessons download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Piano Finger Exercise Lessons free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Micah Blake created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 65 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Piano Finger Exercise Lessons if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the PFEL training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Micah Blake’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on PFEL no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the PFEL training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Micah Blake could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing PFEL and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Piano Finger Exercise Lessons?

During this PFEL review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the PFEL training, the instructor, Micah Blake, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.3 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.
