For the past six years, I have been working as a lecturer for universities in the United States and as a research assistant for travel abroad programs in Tanzania & Thailand. I earned my M.Sc. in Primate Behavior from Central Washington University in 2012. I have a myriad of experience working with animals (primarily great apes) and observing animal behavior in captivity and in natural environments. My research focus includes captive animal welfare, conservation, education and the human/non-human animal interface in anthropogenic landscapes.
