Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use MTCCP45&6 as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as MTCCP45&6 for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and MTCCP45&6 is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 51 characters long, including blanks, while MTCCP45&6 is 9 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 42 characters every time we use MTCCP45&6.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to MTCCP45&6 throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 course for you?

To determine whether Jason Allen’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Jason Allen’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Jason Allen chose for the course, “Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6”, as well as its subtitle: “Learn music theory through this music theory course app, music theory exercises, and music theory tutorials.”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Jason Allen is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what MTCCP45&6 is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Jason Allen hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Jason Allen’s official description of MTCCP45&6

** UDEMY BEST SELLER **

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does MTCCP45&6 pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Jason Allen has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with MTCCP45&6 above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Jason Allen do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Jason Allen’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Jason Allen sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the MTCCP45&6 course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Jason Allen’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Jason Allen, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

What did you think about Jason Allen after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Jason Allen, did it make you more or less interested in taking the MTCCP45&6 course?

And did it make you feel like Jason Allen was more or less credible and qualified to teach Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the MTCCP45&6 lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the MTCCP45&6 course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Jason Allen’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6, as well as the course’s subtitle, Learn music theory through this music theory course app, music theory exercises, and music theory tutorials..

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that MTCCP45&6 is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Jason Allen’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Jason Allen that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Jason Allen that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any MTCCP45&6 lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Jason Allen, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Jason Allen’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Jason Allen’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Jason Allen before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether MTCCP45&6 will be helpful for you.)

Are “Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the MTCCP45&6 page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to August 17, 2025, there were 5,302 students enrolled, 2,046 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.7 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate MTCCP45&6 the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the MTCCP45&6 reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Jason Allen responsive to student questions in the MTCCP45&6 training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their MTCCP45&6 reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Jason Allen a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought MTCCP45&6 yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across MTCCP45&6 while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Jason Allen, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of MTCCP45&6 make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of MTCCP45&6 can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Jason Allen is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other MTCCP45&6 students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through MTCCP45&6 at your own pace
  • You join a community of 5,302 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that MTCCP45&6 would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford MTCCP45&6?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think MTCCP45&6 sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before August 17, 2025, the price was $15.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on MTCCP45&6 with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Jason Allen’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best MTCCP45&6 course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting MTCCP45&6 for a better price, but also with any other Jason Allen Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a MTCCP45&6 discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the MTCCP45&6 training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 promo code” or “Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Jason Allen’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Jason Allen Udemy coupons” or “Jason Allen course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 coupons” rather than “Jason Allen coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you MTCCP45&6 for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get MTCCP45&6 for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Jason Allen decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on MTCCP45&6, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the MTCCP45&6 course. Category one is an official Udemy coupon (which instructors can opt out of), while category two is a coupon offered directly by the instructor.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what kind of a coupon tag you’re dealing with (for example, “officially from Udemy” or “officially from the instructor”), as long as long as as you’re dealing with active coupons that get you a better price.

How can you get a MTCCP45&6 discount from Jason Allen?

If you’re really serious about getting “Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Jason Allen, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Jason Allen’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Jason Allen’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time MTCCP45&6 will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get MTCCP45&6 for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the MTCCP45&6 training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Jason Allen has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 free coupon” or “Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Jason Allen has offered free coupons for MTCCP45&6 in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a MTCCP45&6 free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the MTCCP45&6 training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download MTCCP45&6 illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Jason Allen created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 5,302 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6 if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the MTCCP45&6 training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Jason Allen’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on MTCCP45&6 no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the MTCCP45&6 training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Jason Allen could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing MTCCP45&6 and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 4, 5, & 6?

During this MTCCP45&6 review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the MTCCP45&6 training, the instructor, Jason Allen, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.9 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)

The full course name is 41 characters long, including blanks, while ABGTMOTG is 8 characters long.

Is the A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar course for you?

To determine whether Chris Zoupa’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Chris Zoupa’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Chris Zoupa chose for the course, “A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar”, as well as its subtitle: “Learn The Modes in a relaxed and fun way with YouTube blogger Chris Zoupa”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Chris Zoupa is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what ABGTMOTG is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Chris Zoupa hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Chris Zoupa’s official description of ABGTMOTG

Modes have often been “scary” subject matter for many of my students over the years. This is mostly attributed to it repeatedly being taught in a theoretical manner with little application and context. This can leave students and would be learners stumped, intimidated and often unmotivated.

My course is all about creating an understanding of “hearing” the mode and the “mood” that is created when you hear it. It may even help you with the kinds of moods you are trying to convey in your compositions.

In this course we’ll cover the 7 modes as 1 octave scales, to covering the whole fretboard, as well as creating lead licks and understanding modal chord progressions.

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Are the ABGTMOTG lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the ABGTMOTG course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Chris Zoupa’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar, as well as the course’s subtitle, Learn The Modes in a relaxed and fun way with YouTube blogger Chris Zoupa.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that ABGTMOTG is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Chris Zoupa’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Chris Zoupa that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Chris Zoupa that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any ABGTMOTG lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Chris Zoupa, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Chris Zoupa’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Chris Zoupa’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Chris Zoupa before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether ABGTMOTG will be helpful for you.)

Are “A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the ABGTMOTG page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to August 17, 2025, there were 320 students enrolled, 133 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 5 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate ABGTMOTG the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the ABGTMOTG reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Chris Zoupa responsive to student questions in the ABGTMOTG training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their ABGTMOTG reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Chris Zoupa a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought ABGTMOTG yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across ABGTMOTG while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar on your own, online?

This is a big one, because A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Chris Zoupa, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of ABGTMOTG make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of ABGTMOTG can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Chris Zoupa is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other ABGTMOTG students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through ABGTMOTG at your own pace
  • You join a community of 320 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that ABGTMOTG would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford ABGTMOTG?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think ABGTMOTG sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before August 17, 2025, the price was $13.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on ABGTMOTG with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Chris Zoupa’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best ABGTMOTG course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting ABGTMOTG for a better price, but also with any other Chris Zoupa Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a ABGTMOTG discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the ABGTMOTG training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar promo code” or “A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Chris Zoupa’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Chris Zoupa Udemy coupons” or “Chris Zoupa course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar coupons” rather than “Chris Zoupa coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you ABGTMOTG for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get ABGTMOTG for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Chris Zoupa decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on ABGTMOTG, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the ABGTMOTG course.

How can you get a ABGTMOTG discount from Chris Zoupa?

If you’re really serious about getting “A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Chris Zoupa, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Chris Zoupa’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Chris Zoupa’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time ABGTMOTG will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get ABGTMOTG for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the ABGTMOTG training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Chris Zoupa has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar free coupon” or “A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Chris Zoupa has offered free coupons for ABGTMOTG in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a ABGTMOTG free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the ABGTMOTG training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download ABGTMOTG illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Chris Zoupa created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 320 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the ABGTMOTG training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Chris Zoupa’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on ABGTMOTG no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the ABGTMOTG training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Chris Zoupa could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing ABGTMOTG and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of A Beginner’s Guide To Modes On The Guitar?

During this ABGTMOTG review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the ABGTMOTG training, the instructor, Chris Zoupa, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.9 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Practical Counterpoint Music Theory review for 2025

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about Practical Counterpoint Music Theory as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use PCMT as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Practical Counterpoint Music Theory course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as PCMT for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and PCMT is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 35 characters long, including blanks, while PCMT is 4 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 31 characters every time we use PCMT.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to PCMT throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Practical Counterpoint Music Theory course for you?

To determine whether Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) chose for the course, “Practical Counterpoint Music Theory”, as well as its subtitle: “Compose polyphonic music in a Baroque or early Classical-style style”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what PCMT is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Practical Counterpoint Music Theory is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s official description of PCMT

This is a practical course, in which you’ll learn how to write Baroque and early Classical-style counterpoint from a modern approach.

*** This course is not about “Species Counterpoint”, which is a very theoretical approach and is based on an earlier, Renaissance style. This course looks very briefly at how species counterpoint works, but focuses mainly on writing in the later, more creative Baroque and early classical style.***

You’ll first understand the elements that go into creating an effective solo melody line, and then add a second part while looking at how the parts combine with each other in terms of melody, rhythm and harmony. You’ll also learn about three- and four-part counterpoint, invertible counterpoint, and some of the typical composition forms like the fugue and the trio sonata. You’ll find this course in-depth and both accessible and practical, and by the end you’ll feel confident composing your own contrapuntal music in a Baroque style.Counterpoint, or the art of weaving together multiple melodies, began in the Renaissance era but flourished in the Baroque, when Johann Sebastian Bach was at his height. From that time on, counterpoint has been a composition technique used throughout all the eras and it’s still a hugely important skill today. The course includes a downloadable PDF with lesson notes, musical examples and practical exercises for you to work through yourself.

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does PCMT pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Practical Counterpoint Music Theory on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Practical Counterpoint Music Theory appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with PCMT above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the PCMT course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus), have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s Udemy bio

“This course was absolutely first rate in every way. Ms. Williams presented the material clearly, thoughtfully, and with an obvious love of teaching. The only way this could possibly have been any better is to have had the privilege of studying with her in person. I’m amazed by how much information I learned — and in such an enjoyable way! Ms. Williams is someone who not only has a deep understanding of music theory, but a rare and wonderful creativity that makes her such an effective teacher of it. Bravo and thank you!”

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that PCMT would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford PCMT?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Practical Counterpoint Music Theory discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best PCMT course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting PCMT for a better price, but also with any other Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a PCMT discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the PCMT training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Practical Counterpoint Music Theory promo code” or “Practical Counterpoint Music Theory udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) Udemy coupons” or “Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Practical Counterpoint Music Theory coupons” rather than “Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you PCMT for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get PCMT for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on PCMT, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the PCMT course.

How can you get a PCMT discount from Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)?

If you’re really serious about getting “Practical Counterpoint Music Theory” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus), instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Practical Counterpoint Music Theory. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time PCMT will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get PCMT for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the PCMT training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Practical Counterpoint Music Theory free coupon” or “Practical Counterpoint Music Theory 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) has offered free coupons for PCMT in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a PCMT free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the PCMT training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download PCMT illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Practical Counterpoint Music Theory download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Practical Counterpoint Music Theory free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 314 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Practical Counterpoint Music Theory if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the PCMT training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on PCMT no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the PCMT training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing PCMT and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Practical Counterpoint Music Theory?

During this PCMT review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the PCMT training, the instructor, Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus), and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.8 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Music Composition – Rhythm Fundamentals review for 2025

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about Music Composition – Rhythm Fundamentals as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use MC-RF as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Music Composition – Rhythm Fundamentals course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as MC-RF for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and MC-RF is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 39 characters long, including blanks, while MC-RF is 5 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 34 characters every time we use MC-RF.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to MC-RF throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Music Composition – Rhythm Fundamentals course for you?

To determine whether Mikael Baggström’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Mikael Baggström’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Mikael Baggström chose for the course, “Music Composition – Rhythm Fundamentals”, as well as its subtitle: “Learn How to Effectively use Rhythm in Music Composition”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Mikael Baggström is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what MC-RF is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Mikael Baggström hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Music Composition – Rhythm Fundamentals is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Mikael Baggström’s official description of MC-RF

Rhythm & Percussion in Music Composition

Would you like to Master Rhythm, Percussion and Drive in Your Music? After this course you will be able to lead and drive your music, enhance and spotlight special parts, control the energy and action, generate intensity and power, and forge the foundation of all music you create. Because you will master the core of all music: Rhythm.

You will Learn

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does MC-RF pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Music Composition – Rhythm Fundamentals on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Mikael Baggström has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Music Composition – Rhythm Fundamentals appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with MC-RF above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Mikael Baggström do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Mikael Baggström’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Mikael Baggström sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the MC-RF course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Mikael Baggström’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Mikael Baggström, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Mikael Baggström’s Udemy bio

Hey Friends! =)- My name is Mike, and I am a Professional Music Composer and Sound Designer from Sweden, with experience of Making Music since 1998.

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about Mikael Baggström after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Mikael Baggström, did it make you more or less interested in taking the MC-RF course?

And did it make you feel like Mikael Baggström was more or less credible and qualified to teach Music Composition – Rhythm Fundamentals?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the MC-RF lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Music Composition – Rhythm Fundamentals course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the MC-RF course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Mikael Baggström’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Music Composition – Rhythm Fundamentals, as well as the course’s subtitle, Learn How to Effectively use Rhythm in Music Composition.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that MC-RF is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Mikael Baggström’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Mikael Baggström that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Mikael Baggström that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Music Composition – Rhythm Fundamentals training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any MC-RF lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Mikael Baggström, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Mikael Baggström’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Mikael Baggström’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Music Composition – Rhythm Fundamentals will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Mikael Baggström before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether MC-RF will be helpful for you.)

Are “Music Composition – Rhythm Fundamentals” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the MC-RF page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to August 17, 2025, there were 194 students enrolled, 68 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 3.8 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate MC-RF the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the MC-RF reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Mikael Baggström responsive to student questions in the MC-RF training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their MC-RF reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Mikael Baggström a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought MC-RF yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across MC-RF while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Music Composition – Rhythm Fundamentals on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Music Composition – Rhythm Fundamentals is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Music Composition – Rhythm Fundamentals.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Mikael Baggström, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of MC-RF make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Music Composition – Rhythm Fundamentals training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of MC-RF can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Mikael Baggström is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other MC-RF students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through MC-RF at your own pace
  • You join a community of 194 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that MC-RF would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford MC-RF?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Music Composition – Rhythm Fundamentals?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think MC-RF sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before August 17, 2025, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on MC-RF with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

Brief course description

In Piano Chords I showed you different ways of interpreting basic chord symbols like major and minor triads and 7th chords. In Advanced Piano Chords 1 I’m going to show you the easiest ways of thinking about 6th chords, 9th chords, and 13th chords, as well as diminished and augmented triads. But the main thing it covers is 3rds and 7ths on the circle of 5ths. It’s hard to describe exactly what that means in words, but if you watch the intro video I demonstrate it. Basically, the circle of 5ths is the most common chord progression in music, and alternating 3rds and 7ths is (usually) the best way of interpreting it. If that sounds complicated that’s because it is, a little, but I walk you through it step-by-step so that it’s second nature. Alternating 3rds and 7ths on the circle of 5ths is an essential skill for interpreting the “Great American Song Book” (George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Richard Rodgers, etc.) and it therefore serves as the foundation for jazz piano, as well as having applications in classical, soul, and other styles. (I’m planning an Advanced Piano Chords 2 that covers complex jazz chords like sharp 9ths and flat 13ths, but give you an overview of those at the end of this course.)

Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song review for 2025

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use S1HTWAHS as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as S1HTWAHS for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and S1HTWAHS is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 38 characters long, including blanks, while S1HTWAHS is 8 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 30 characters every time we use S1HTWAHS.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to S1HTWAHS throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song course for you?

To determine whether Robert Prosser’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Robert Prosser’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Robert Prosser chose for the course, “Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song”, as well as its subtitle: “Unlock the AWESOME SECRETS for writing a hit song – rock, pop, R&B, blues, electronica and more!”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Robert Prosser is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what S1HTWAHS is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Robert Prosser hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Robert Prosser’s official description of S1HTWAHS

Learn how to write a hit song in popular music styles – rock, pop, blues, metal, reggae and more! Learn how to take a basic music idea and develop it into a full song.

“This course has good content with good visuals. You get to see the lesson and hear it individually and then combined together for the full sound. The demonstrations Robert has included ties it all together.” – Greg R

“Teacher is clear, concise and interactive and lessons are easy to learn and easy to follow. Great job.” – Suppoman ®

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does S1HTWAHS pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Robert Prosser has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with S1HTWAHS above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Robert Prosser do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Robert Prosser’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Robert Prosser sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the S1HTWAHS course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Robert Prosser’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Robert Prosser, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Robert Prosser’s Udemy bio

I have two diverse and specialized skills. I am a very skilled musician…

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about Robert Prosser after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Robert Prosser, did it make you more or less interested in taking the S1HTWAHS course?

And did it make you feel like Robert Prosser was more or less credible and qualified to teach Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the S1HTWAHS lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the S1HTWAHS course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Robert Prosser’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song, as well as the course’s subtitle, Unlock the AWESOME SECRETS for writing a hit song – rock, pop, R&B, blues, electronica and more!.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that S1HTWAHS is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Robert Prosser’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Robert Prosser that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Robert Prosser that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any S1HTWAHS lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Robert Prosser, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Robert Prosser’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Robert Prosser’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Robert Prosser before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether S1HTWAHS will be helpful for you.)

Are “Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the S1HTWAHS page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to August 17, 2025, there were 42 students enrolled, 20 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate S1HTWAHS the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the S1HTWAHS reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Robert Prosser responsive to student questions in the S1HTWAHS training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their S1HTWAHS reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Robert Prosser a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought S1HTWAHS yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across S1HTWAHS while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Robert Prosser, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of S1HTWAHS make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of S1HTWAHS can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Robert Prosser is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other S1HTWAHS students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through S1HTWAHS at your own pace
  • You join a community of 42 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that S1HTWAHS would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford S1HTWAHS?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think S1HTWAHS sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before August 17, 2025, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on S1HTWAHS with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Robert Prosser’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best S1HTWAHS course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting S1HTWAHS for a better price, but also with any other Robert Prosser Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a S1HTWAHS discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the S1HTWAHS training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song promo code” or “Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Robert Prosser’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Robert Prosser Udemy coupons” or “Robert Prosser course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song coupons” rather than “Robert Prosser coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you S1HTWAHS for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get S1HTWAHS for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Robert Prosser decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on S1HTWAHS, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the S1HTWAHS course.

How can you get a S1HTWAHS discount from Robert Prosser?

If you’re really serious about getting “Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Robert Prosser, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Robert Prosser’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Robert Prosser’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time S1HTWAHS will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get S1HTWAHS for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the S1HTWAHS training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Robert Prosser has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song free coupon” or “Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Robert Prosser has offered free coupons for S1HTWAHS in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a S1HTWAHS free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the S1HTWAHS training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download S1HTWAHS illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Robert Prosser created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 42 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the S1HTWAHS training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Robert Prosser’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on S1HTWAHS no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the S1HTWAHS training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Robert Prosser could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing S1HTWAHS and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Songwriting 1: How To Write A Hit Song?

During this S1HTWAHS review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the S1HTWAHS training, the instructor, Robert Prosser, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.5 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Brief course description

This short course is for guitarists who want to get to know understand identify and use modes without too much unnecessary mathematical concept. I’m a huge believer that understanding modes is about training your ear just as much as it is about studying scale construction, and I’m hoping that I teach an even balance of the two. If you are tired of being stuck in pentatonic solo boxes during jams and solo’s then this course is for you. Thanks a lot and drop me an inbox if you have any queries.

How To Get a Booking Agent review for 2025

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about How To Get a Booking Agent as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use HTGABA as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our How To Get a Booking Agent course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as HTGABA for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and HTGABA is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 26 characters long, including blanks, while HTGABA is 6 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 20 characters every time we use HTGABA.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to HTGABA throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the How To Get a Booking Agent course for you?

To determine whether Christopher Greenwood’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Christopher Greenwood’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Christopher Greenwood chose for the course, “How To Get a Booking Agent”, as well as its subtitle: “Step by step guide showing you what it takes to work with a booking agent and build your live music career”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Christopher Greenwood is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what HTGABA is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Christopher Greenwood hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what How To Get a Booking Agent is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Christopher Greenwood’s official description of HTGABA

As the artist Manafest I’ve toured over 19 different countries playing thousands of shows and booked hundreds of them myself. I’ve worked with some of the biggest booking agencies in USA, CANADA & Japan.

This course will teach you exactly what it takes to build your music career so that you can reach out to booking agencies or have them chasing you down.

Playing shows is the #1 most easiest way for artists to start making a great income and build there music career further.

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does HTGABA pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about How To Get a Booking Agent on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Christopher Greenwood has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did How To Get a Booking Agent appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with HTGABA above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Christopher Greenwood do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Christopher Greenwood’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Christopher Greenwood sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the HTGABA course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Christopher Greenwood’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Christopher Greenwood, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

What did you think about Christopher Greenwood after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Christopher Greenwood, did it make you more or less interested in taking the HTGABA course?

And did it make you feel like Christopher Greenwood was more or less credible and qualified to teach How To Get a Booking Agent?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the HTGABA lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the How To Get a Booking Agent course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the HTGABA course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Christopher Greenwood’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, How To Get a Booking Agent, as well as the course’s subtitle, Step by step guide showing you what it takes to work with a booking agent and build your live music career.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that HTGABA is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Christopher Greenwood’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Christopher Greenwood that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Christopher Greenwood that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the How To Get a Booking Agent training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any HTGABA lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Christopher Greenwood, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Christopher Greenwood’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Christopher Greenwood’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that How To Get a Booking Agent will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Christopher Greenwood before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether HTGABA will be helpful for you.)

Are “How To Get a Booking Agent” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the HTGABA page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to August 17, 2025, there were 90 students enrolled, 35 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.3 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate HTGABA the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the HTGABA reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Christopher Greenwood responsive to student questions in the HTGABA training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their HTGABA reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Christopher Greenwood a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought HTGABA yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across HTGABA while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in How To Get a Booking Agent on your own, online?

This is a big one, because How To Get a Booking Agent is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking How To Get a Booking Agent.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Christopher Greenwood, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of HTGABA make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the How To Get a Booking Agent training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of HTGABA can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Christopher Greenwood is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other HTGABA students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through HTGABA at your own pace
  • You join a community of 90 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that HTGABA would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford HTGABA?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of How To Get a Booking Agent?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think HTGABA sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before August 17, 2025, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on HTGABA with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on How To Get a Booking Agent?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the How To Get a Booking Agent discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Christopher Greenwood’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best HTGABA course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting HTGABA for a better price, but also with any other Christopher Greenwood Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a HTGABA discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the HTGABA training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy How To Get a Booking Agent promo code” or “How To Get a Booking Agent udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Christopher Greenwood’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Christopher Greenwood Udemy coupons” or “Christopher Greenwood course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “How To Get a Booking Agent coupons” rather than “Christopher Greenwood coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you HTGABA for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get HTGABA for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Christopher Greenwood decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on HTGABA, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the HTGABA course.

How can you get a HTGABA discount from Christopher Greenwood?

If you’re really serious about getting “How To Get a Booking Agent” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Christopher Greenwood, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Christopher Greenwood’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in How To Get a Booking Agent. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Christopher Greenwood’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time HTGABA will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get HTGABA for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the HTGABA training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Christopher Greenwood has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “How To Get a Booking Agent free coupon” or “How To Get a Booking Agent 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Christopher Greenwood has offered free coupons for HTGABA in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a HTGABA free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the HTGABA training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download HTGABA illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “How To Get a Booking Agent download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “How To Get a Booking Agent free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Christopher Greenwood created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 90 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on How To Get a Booking Agent if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the HTGABA training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Christopher Greenwood’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on HTGABA no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the HTGABA training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Christopher Greenwood could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing HTGABA and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of How To Get a Booking Agent?

During this HTGABA review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the HTGABA training, the instructor, Christopher Greenwood, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.6 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Opening lines of Jason Allen’s official description of MTCP4-MAC

For years I’ve been teaching Music Theory in the college classroom. These classes I’m making for Udemy use the same syllabus I’ve used in my college classes for years, at a fraction of the cost. I believe anyone can learn Music Theory – and cost shouldn’t be a barrier.

Recently I was named as a semi-finalist for the Grammy Foundation’s Music Educator of the Year award because of my in-person university classes. Now I’m taking those classes to Udemy in an online format in order to reach more students, and give them the joy of Music Theory.

My approach to music theory is to minimize the memorization. Most of these concepts you can learn by just understanding why chords behave in certain ways. Once you understand those concepts, you can find any scale, key, or chord that exists. Even invent your own.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint, as well as the course’s subtitle, A Complete College-Level Music Theory Curriculum. This is Part 4: Working with Modes (Church Modes) and Counterpoint.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that MTCP4-MAC is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Jason Allen’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

For example, does the Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any MTCP4-MAC lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Jason Allen, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Jason Allen’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Jason Allen’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Jason Allen before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether MTCP4-MAC will be helpful for you.)

Are “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the MTCP4-MAC page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to August 17, 2025, there were 391 students enrolled, 132 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.6 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate MTCP4-MAC the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the MTCP4-MAC reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Jason Allen responsive to student questions in the MTCP4-MAC training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their MTCP4-MAC reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Jason Allen a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought MTCP4-MAC yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across MTCP4-MAC while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint.

Do the pros / benefits of MTCP4-MAC make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of MTCP4-MAC can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Jason Allen is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other MTCP4-MAC students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through MTCP4-MAC at your own pace
  • You join a community of 391 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that MTCP4-MAC would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford MTCP4-MAC?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think MTCP4-MAC sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before August 17, 2025, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on MTCP4-MAC with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Jason Allen’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best MTCP4-MAC course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting MTCP4-MAC for a better price, but also with any other Jason Allen Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a MTCP4-MAC discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the MTCP4-MAC training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint promo code” or “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint coupons” rather than “Jason Allen coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you MTCP4-MAC for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get MTCP4-MAC for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Jason Allen decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on MTCP4-MAC, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the MTCP4-MAC course.

How can you get a MTCP4-MAC discount from Jason Allen?

If you’re really serious about getting “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Jason Allen, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Jason Allen’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Jason Allen’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time MTCP4-MAC will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get MTCP4-MAC for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the MTCP4-MAC training is free!

For example, you might do a google search for “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint free coupon” or “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Jason Allen has offered free coupons for MTCP4-MAC in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a MTCP4-MAC free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the MTCP4-MAC training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download MTCP4-MAC illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Jason Allen created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 391 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the MTCP4-MAC training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Jason Allen’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on MTCP4-MAC no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the MTCP4-MAC training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Jason Allen could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing MTCP4-MAC and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Music Theory Comprehensive: Part 4 – Modes and Counterpoint?

During this MTCP4-MAC review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the MTCP4-MAC training, the instructor, Jason Allen, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.9 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use AICMAFA as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Adventures in Classical Music—Music Appreciation for All! course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as AICMAFA for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and AICMAFA is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 57 characters long, including blanks, while AICMAFA is 7 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 50 characters every time we use AICMAFA.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to AICMAFA throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Adventures in Classical Music—Music Appreciation for All! course for you?

To determine whether William Neely’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what William Neely’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that William Neely chose for the course, “Adventures in Classical Music—Music Appreciation for All!”, as well as its subtitle: “Understand and enjoy classical music at your own pace. A music history course, including a music theory introduction.”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if William Neely is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what AICMAFA is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means William Neely hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Adventures in Classical Music—Music Appreciation for All! is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of William Neely’s official description of AICMAFA

Music appreciation for the 21st century. Learn about Classical Music in the Western world from the Middle Ages to the present.

You’ll begin with an introduction to the various elements of music — for example, melody, rhythm, pitch and harmony – to give you the basics and vocabulary of music theory to understand and appreciate any type of music.  You’ll then explore the History of Classical Music through its various stylistic periods, from medieval chant right up to the current cutting edge. Anyone interested in classical music will benefit from this course.

Does AICMAFA pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Adventures in Classical Music—Music Appreciation for All! on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, William Neely has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Adventures in Classical Music—Music Appreciation for All! appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with AICMAFA above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did William Neely do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, William Neely’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does William Neely sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the AICMAFA course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, William Neely’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including William Neely, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Adventures in Classical Music—Music Appreciation for All! promo code” or “Adventures in Classical Music—Music Appreciation for All! udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with William Neely’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “William Neely Udemy coupons” or “William Neely course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Adventures in Classical Music—Music Appreciation for All! coupons” rather than “William Neely coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you AICMAFA for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get AICMAFA for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if William Neely decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on AICMAFA, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the AICMAFA course.

How can you get a AICMAFA discount from William Neely?

If you’re really serious about getting “Adventures in Classical Music—Music Appreciation for All!” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from William Neely, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get William Neely’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Adventures in Classical Music—Music Appreciation for All!. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join William Neely’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time AICMAFA will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get AICMAFA for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the AICMAFA training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that William Neely has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Adventures in Classical Music—Music Appreciation for All! free coupon” or “Adventures in Classical Music—Music Appreciation for All! 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even William Neely has offered free coupons for AICMAFA in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a AICMAFA free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the AICMAFA training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download AICMAFA illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Adventures in Classical Music—Music Appreciation for All! download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Adventures in Classical Music—Music Appreciation for All! free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, William Neely created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 1,420 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Adventures in Classical Music—Music Appreciation for All! if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the AICMAFA training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into William Neely’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on AICMAFA no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the AICMAFA training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing William Neely could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing AICMAFA and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.
