ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading review for 2026

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use AG6MTGK&SR as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as AG6MTGK&SR for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and AG6MTGK&SR is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 60 characters long, including blanks, while AG6MTGK&SR is 10 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 50 characters every time we use AG6MTGK&SR.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to AG6MTGK&SR throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading course for you?

To determine whether Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) chose for the course, “ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading”, as well as its subtitle: “Master Questions 4 and 5 of the ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory Exam”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what AG6MTGK&SR is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s official description of AG6MTGK&SR

This is Module 3 in my video course series on mastering the ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory exam.

This course is for you if:

You will learn how to read the part for any orchestral instrument, including more obscure ones such as the cor Anglais or double bassoon.

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does AG6MTGK&SR pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with AG6MTGK&SR above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the AG6MTGK&SR course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus), have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s Udemy bio

“This course was absolutely first rate in every way. Ms. Williams presented the material clearly, thoughtfully, and with an obvious love of teaching. The only way this could possibly have been any better is to have had the privilege of studying with her in person. I’m amazed by how much information I learned — and in such an enjoyable way! Ms. Williams is someone who not only has a deep understanding of music theory, but a rare and wonderful creativity that makes her such an effective teacher of it. Bravo and thank you!”

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus), did it make you more or less interested in taking the AG6MTGK&SR course?

And did it make you feel like Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) was more or less credible and qualified to teach ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the AG6MTGK&SR lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the AG6MTGK&SR course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading, as well as the course’s subtitle, Master Questions 4 and 5 of the ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory Exam.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that AG6MTGK&SR is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any AG6MTGK&SR lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus), or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether AG6MTGK&SR will be helpful for you.)

Are “ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the AG6MTGK&SR page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to April 23, 2026, there were 84 students enrolled, 42 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.1 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate AG6MTGK&SR the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the AG6MTGK&SR reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) responsive to student questions in the AG6MTGK&SR training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their AG6MTGK&SR reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought AG6MTGK&SR yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across AG6MTGK&SR while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading on your own, online?

This is a big one, because ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus), online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of AG6MTGK&SR make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of AG6MTGK&SR can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other AG6MTGK&SR students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through AG6MTGK&SR at your own pace
  • You join a community of 84 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that AG6MTGK&SR would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford AG6MTGK&SR?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think AG6MTGK&SR sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before April 23, 2026, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on AG6MTGK&SR with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best AG6MTGK&SR course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting AG6MTGK&SR for a better price, but also with any other Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a AG6MTGK&SR discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the AG6MTGK&SR training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading promo code” or “ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) Udemy coupons” or “Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading coupons” rather than “Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you AG6MTGK&SR for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get AG6MTGK&SR for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on AG6MTGK&SR, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the AG6MTGK&SR course. Category one is an official Udemy coupon (which instructors can opt out of), while category two is a coupon offered directly by the instructor.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what kind of a coupon tag you’re dealing with (for example, “officially from Udemy” or “officially from the instructor”), as long as long as as you’re dealing with active coupons that get you a better price.

How can you get a AG6MTGK&SR discount from Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)?

If you’re really serious about getting “ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus), instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time AG6MTGK&SR will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get AG6MTGK&SR for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the AG6MTGK&SR training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading free coupon” or “ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) has offered free coupons for AG6MTGK&SR in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a AG6MTGK&SR free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the AG6MTGK&SR training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download AG6MTGK&SR illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 84 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the AG6MTGK&SR training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus)’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on AG6MTGK&SR no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the AG6MTGK&SR training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus) could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing AG6MTGK&SR and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of ABRSM Grade 6 Music Theory General Knowledge & Score Reading?

During this AG6MTGK&SR review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the AG6MTGK&SR training, the instructor, Victoria Williams LmusTCL BA(Mus), and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.3 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Brief course description

When producing a track, we’ve all experienced that point when you can’t get any further and need some extra inspiration. Electronic Music Composition Pt1 (EMC1) will help you overcome this obstacle by introducing basic music theory in an easy to understand way without getting bogged down in scales and theory. This will help you develop the musical aspects of your tracks.

We analyze and demonstrate how classic and cutting edge tunes are put together musically to clearly show you the techniques they use so you can implement them in your own tracks. You’ll find EMC both engaging and inspiring, just what making music should be. It’s developed by virtuoso keyboardist Ski Oakenfull (solo artist signed to Sony and remixer/producer/writer/player for artists including Incognito, Joey Negro and The Bays.

The course contains new presentation techniques that enable you to see exactly what’s being played on the keys and what’s happening in the software/DAW. You will be able to use these ideas and techniques in your own productions to get that musical buzz you’re missing.

The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course review for 2026

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use TCITMTC as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as TCITMTC for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and TCITMTC is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 48 characters long, including blanks, while TCITMTC is 7 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 41 characters every time we use TCITMTC.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to TCITMTC throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course course for you?

To determine whether Matthew Carano’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Matthew Carano’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Matthew Carano chose for the course, “The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course”, as well as its subtitle: “Intervals, Scales, And Chords From The Ground Up”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Matthew Carano is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what TCITMTC is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Matthew Carano hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Does TCITMTC pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Matthew Carano has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with TCITMTC above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Matthew Carano do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Matthew Carano’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Matthew Carano sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the TCITMTC course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Matthew Carano’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Matthew Carano, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Matthew Carano’s Udemy bio

Matthew Carano is the creator of The Music Class, a series of courses built to teach music fundamentals like theory and ear training, from the ground up. Matt is a musician and educator who believes strongly that learning music creates positive developmental changes in both children and adults. And that learning music fundamentals greatly enhances a student’s ability to perform and create.; Why are 135,000+ students enrolled in our Udemy courses?

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about Matthew Carano after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Matthew Carano, did it make you more or less interested in taking the TCITMTC course?

And did it make you feel like Matthew Carano was more or less credible and qualified to teach The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the TCITMTC lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the TCITMTC course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Matthew Carano’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course, as well as the course’s subtitle, Intervals, Scales, And Chords From The Ground Up.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that TCITMTC is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Matthew Carano’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Matthew Carano that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Matthew Carano that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any TCITMTC lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Matthew Carano, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Matthew Carano’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Matthew Carano’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Matthew Carano before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether TCITMTC will be helpful for you.)

Are “The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the TCITMTC page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to April 23, 2026, there were 724 students enrolled, 281 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.7 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate TCITMTC the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the TCITMTC reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Matthew Carano responsive to student questions in the TCITMTC training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their TCITMTC reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Matthew Carano a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought TCITMTC yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across TCITMTC while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course on your own, online?

This is a big one, because The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Matthew Carano, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of TCITMTC make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of TCITMTC can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Matthew Carano is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other TCITMTC students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through TCITMTC at your own pace
  • You join a community of 724 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that TCITMTC would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford TCITMTC?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think TCITMTC sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before April 23, 2026, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on TCITMTC with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Matthew Carano’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best TCITMTC course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting TCITMTC for a better price, but also with any other Matthew Carano Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a TCITMTC discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the TCITMTC training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course promo code” or “The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Matthew Carano’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Matthew Carano Udemy coupons” or “Matthew Carano course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course coupons” rather than “Matthew Carano coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you TCITMTC for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get TCITMTC for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Matthew Carano decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on TCITMTC, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the TCITMTC course.

How can you get a TCITMTC discount from Matthew Carano?

If you’re really serious about getting “The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Matthew Carano, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Matthew Carano’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Matthew Carano’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time TCITMTC will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get TCITMTC for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the TCITMTC training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Matthew Carano has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course free coupon” or “The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Matthew Carano has offered free coupons for TCITMTC in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a TCITMTC free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the TCITMTC training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download TCITMTC illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Matthew Carano created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 724 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the TCITMTC training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Matthew Carano’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on TCITMTC no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the TCITMTC training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Matthew Carano could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing TCITMTC and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of The Complete Introduction To Music Theory Course?

During this TCITMTC review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the TCITMTC training, the instructor, Matthew Carano, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.8 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

This course is about understanding the very basis of music: sound. More precisely of sound in time. No matter what kind of instrument or musical endeavor you’re interested, the most fundamental concepts are always the basics of sound in time, the rhythm.

We take an approach to study the basics of music in a way everyone can learn with no past musical experience whatsoever.

It is directed toward people with no means to find a good teacher, or who wants to learn by himself.

Started my career in music at age 13, by age 15 I made my first bucks playing at a bar, at age 17 I started my career in music with serious studies in violin, 5 years later I was invited to play in the Symphony Orchestra in San Luis, Mexico. While in the orchestra I always had a job as music teacher in the youth Symphony Orchestra, then I knew Jazz, and made a very unexpected turn in my career, getting very deep into other styles like Gypsy Jazz and Klezmer. I´ve played in many places including all over Mexico, Munich in Germany, New Orleans, San Antonio and Wisconsin in the US.

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Music theory for complete beginners course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the MTFCB course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Miguel Fajardo’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Music theory for complete beginners, as well as the course’s subtitle, The fundamentals of sound in time, learn how to teach yourself to read, write basic rhythms and the skill to play them.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that MTFCB is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Miguel Fajardo’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Miguel Fajardo that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Miguel Fajardo that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Music theory for complete beginners training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any MTFCB lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Miguel Fajardo, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Miguel Fajardo’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Miguel Fajardo’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Music theory for complete beginners will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Miguel Fajardo before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether MTFCB will be helpful for you.)

Are “Music theory for complete beginners” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the MTFCB page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to April 23, 2026, there were 698 students enrolled, 263 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.4 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate MTFCB the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the MTFCB reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Miguel Fajardo responsive to student questions in the MTFCB training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their MTFCB reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Miguel Fajardo a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought MTFCB yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across MTFCB while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Music theory for complete beginners on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Music theory for complete beginners is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Music theory for complete beginners.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Miguel Fajardo, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of MTFCB make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Music theory for complete beginners training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of MTFCB can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Miguel Fajardo is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other MTFCB students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through MTFCB at your own pace
  • You join a community of 698 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that MTFCB would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford MTFCB?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Music theory for complete beginners?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think MTFCB sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before April 23, 2026, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on MTFCB with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Music theory for complete beginners?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Music theory for complete beginners discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Miguel Fajardo’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best MTFCB course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting MTFCB for a better price, but also with any other Miguel Fajardo Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a MTFCB discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the MTFCB training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Music theory for complete beginners promo code” or “Music theory for complete beginners udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Miguel Fajardo’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Miguel Fajardo Udemy coupons” or “Miguel Fajardo course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Music theory for complete beginners coupons” rather than “Miguel Fajardo coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you MTFCB for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get MTFCB for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Miguel Fajardo decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on MTFCB, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the MTFCB course.

How can you get a MTFCB discount from Miguel Fajardo?

If you’re really serious about getting “Music theory for complete beginners” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Miguel Fajardo, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Miguel Fajardo’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Music theory for complete beginners. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Miguel Fajardo’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time MTFCB will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get MTFCB for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the MTFCB training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Miguel Fajardo has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Music theory for complete beginners free coupon” or “Music theory for complete beginners 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Miguel Fajardo has offered free coupons for MTFCB in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a MTFCB free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the MTFCB training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download MTFCB illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Music theory for complete beginners download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Music theory for complete beginners free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Miguel Fajardo created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 698 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Music theory for complete beginners if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the MTFCB training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Miguel Fajardo’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on MTFCB no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the MTFCB training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Miguel Fajardo could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing MTFCB and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Music theory for complete beginners?

During this MTFCB review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the MTFCB training, the instructor, Miguel Fajardo, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.6 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use MTCCP11&1 as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 10, 11, & 12 course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as MTCCP11&1 for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and MTCCP11&1 is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 54 characters long, including blanks, while MTCCP11&1 is 9 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 45 characters every time we use MTCCP11&1.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to MTCCP11&1 throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 10, 11, & 12 course for you?

To determine whether Jason Allen’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Jason Allen’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Jason Allen chose for the course, “Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 10, 11, & 12”, as well as its subtitle: “Learn music theory through this music theory course app, music theory exercises, and music theory tutorials.”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Jason Allen is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what MTCCP11&1 is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Jason Allen hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 10, 11, & 12 is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Jason Allen’s official description of MTCCP11&1

This is a class designed for the average person who is ready to take music theory (or music interest) and turn it into a usable skill. Whether you are an active musician or an aspiring musician, this class is perfect for you.

Does MTCCP11&1 pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 10, 11, & 12 on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Jason Allen has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 10, 11, & 12 appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with MTCCP11&1 above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

If so, Jason Allen’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Jason Allen sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the MTCCP11&1 course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Jason Allen’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Jason Allen, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

For example, you might do a Google search for “Jason Allen Udemy coupons” or “Jason Allen course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 10, 11, & 12 coupons” rather than “Jason Allen coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you MTCCP11&1 for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get MTCCP11&1 for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Jason Allen decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on MTCCP11&1, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the MTCCP11&1 course.

How can you get a MTCCP11&1 discount from Jason Allen?

If you’re really serious about getting “Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 10, 11, & 12” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Jason Allen, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Jason Allen’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 10, 11, & 12. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Jason Allen’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time MTCCP11&1 will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get MTCCP11&1 for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the MTCCP11&1 training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Jason Allen has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 10, 11, & 12 free coupon” or “Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 10, 11, & 12 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Jason Allen has offered free coupons for MTCCP11&1 in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a MTCCP11&1 free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the MTCCP11&1 training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download MTCCP11&1 illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 10, 11, & 12 download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 10, 11, & 12 free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Jason Allen created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 519 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 10, 11, & 12 if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the MTCCP11&1 training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Jason Allen’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on MTCCP11&1 no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the MTCCP11&1 training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Jason Allen could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing MTCCP11&1 and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Music Theory Comprehensive Complete: Part 10, 11, & 12?

During this MTCCP11&1 review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the MTCCP11&1 training, the instructor, Jason Allen, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.8 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Masterclass-EQ Course review for 2026

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about Masterclass-EQ Course as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use MC as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Masterclass-EQ Course course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as MC for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and MC is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 21 characters long, including blanks, while MC is 2 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 19 characters every time we use MC.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to MC throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Masterclass-EQ Course course for you?

To determine whether David Wills’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what David Wills’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that David Wills chose for the course, “Masterclass-EQ Course”, as well as its subtitle: “Masterclass-EQ 2-Disc DVD Set”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if David Wills is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what MC is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means David Wills hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Masterclass-EQ Course is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of David Wills’s official description of MC

If you’ve been looking to the absolutely BEST training on the planet to be a master of EQ…you’ve found it! Over 3 hours of Premium Training on 2 DVD discs.

While I cover these subjects in our Ultimate Home Recording School and Ultimate Live Sound School, this 2 Disc DVD set is for you maniacs who want to know it ALL 🙂  The knowledge and examples in this course are of the caliber that you would find taught in high end $30,000 a year sound schools like Berklee and Full Sail.

See you in the course!

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does MC pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Masterclass-EQ Course on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, David Wills has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Masterclass-EQ Course appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with MC above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did David Wills do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, David Wills’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does David Wills sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the MC course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, David Wills’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including David Wills, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from David Wills’s Udemy bio

David Wills whose credits includes Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Phil Collins, Diana Ross, Chicago and many others is the host and developer of over 60 training courses on Audio Engineering and Music Production.  As the founder and owner of ProAudioDVDs the vision is to empower musicians and audio engineers to make great music.

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about David Wills after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about David Wills, did it make you more or less interested in taking the MC course?

And did it make you feel like David Wills was more or less credible and qualified to teach Masterclass-EQ Course?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the MC lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Masterclass-EQ Course course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the MC course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing David Wills’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Masterclass-EQ Course, as well as the course’s subtitle, Masterclass-EQ 2-Disc DVD Set.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that MC is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in David Wills’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from David Wills that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from David Wills that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Masterclass-EQ Course training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any MC lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by David Wills, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of David Wills’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with David Wills’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Masterclass-EQ Course will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from David Wills before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether MC will be helpful for you.)

Are “Masterclass-EQ Course” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the MC page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to April 23, 2026, there were 498 students enrolled, 195 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.7 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate MC the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the MC reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is David Wills responsive to student questions in the MC training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their MC reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send David Wills a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought MC yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across MC while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Masterclass-EQ Course on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Masterclass-EQ Course is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Masterclass-EQ Course.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, David Wills, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of MC make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Masterclass-EQ Course training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of MC can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • David Wills is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other MC students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through MC at your own pace
  • You join a community of 498 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that MC would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford MC?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Masterclass-EQ Course?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think MC sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before April 23, 2026, the price was $15.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on MC with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Masterclass-EQ Course?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Masterclass-EQ Course discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for David Wills’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best MC course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting MC for a better price, but also with any other David Wills Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a MC discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the MC training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Masterclass-EQ Course promo code” or “Masterclass-EQ Course udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with David Wills’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “David Wills Udemy coupons” or “David Wills course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Masterclass-EQ Course coupons” rather than “David Wills coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you MC for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

Brief course description

This course will be the single biggest improvement to the bottom line of your musicianship: how you sound like, and how fun it is to listen to you. (And for other musicians – how fun it is to play with you)

Did you ever feel like your sense of rhythm is not good enough? That your playing feels “sloppy” in terms of time-keeping?

Maybe it was when you tried playing with other people, or when you were about to perform solo on stage and you noticed that you’re always dragging or rushing through the chords?

Brief course description

Here is a review from one of my students: Barbara

“I  have lost track of how many courses I have taken with Rosa but my  playing has improved and I am so excited to keep learning more &  more with her. Each course goes deeper into what we need to know and  makes playing beautiful music easier. Rosa has the God given gift of  being a very gentle teacher. It’s fun to learn with her and as you watch  the videos it’s almost as if she is in the room with you. If it is your  goal to enjoy playing the piano let Rosa help you reach that goal.  Thanks Rosa, we appreciate you.”
