Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals review for 2026

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use LTV-SAF as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as LTV-SAF for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and LTV-SAF is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 41 characters long, including blanks, while LTV-SAF is 7 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 34 characters every time we use LTV-SAF.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to LTV-SAF throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals course for you?

To determine whether Kathleen Stringplay’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Kathleen Stringplay’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Kathleen Stringplay chose for the course, “Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals”, as well as its subtitle: “A beginner’s guide to technique and one octave scales on the viola.”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Kathleen Stringplay is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what LTV-SAF is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Kathleen Stringplay hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Kathleen Stringplay’s official description of LTV-SAF

This course covers the basics such as holding the violin and bow properly and tuning the instrument. It covers a couple of different bowing techniques and then goes through both the major and minor scales. It is taught by video lessons with straightforward, easy to follow instructions. There is also some supplemental material to help guide you along the way. There are lectures on the extras such as the proper way to hold the instrument, as well as lectures focusing on different techniques to improve your playing.

Students who enroll will get to learn a challenging instrument without having to take costly private lessons. This course is about the equivalent of 6-12 months of private violin lessons with a focus on scales, so could take anywhere from one month to twelve months to complete. It all depends on how much time you have to put into it.

This course is a very low pressure way to get to learn a new instrument. Without the time commitment and cost of weekly private lessons, students will be able to discover the joy of playing the violin without any added pressure.

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does LTV-SAF pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Kathleen Stringplay has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with LTV-SAF above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Kathleen Stringplay do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Kathleen Stringplay’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Kathleen Stringplay sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the LTV-SAF course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Kathleen Stringplay’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Kathleen Stringplay, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Kathleen Stringplay’s Udemy bio

Kathleen is a professional freelance violinist. She studied at Mannes College in New York where she obtained a Diploma in Violin Performance where she also played the viola. Kathleen’s playing has been described as “beautiful”, “sweet”, and “fluent” by her audiences, conductors, and teachers. From the grandeur of the concert stage as an orchestral violinist, to bringing the joy of live entertainment to weddings and receptions, she continues to move her audience with her performances. Kathleen has performed in cities both in the US and Canada. She also composes and arranges music.

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about Kathleen Stringplay after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Kathleen Stringplay, did it make you more or less interested in taking the LTV-SAF course?

And did it make you feel like Kathleen Stringplay was more or less credible and qualified to teach Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the LTV-SAF lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the LTV-SAF course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Kathleen Stringplay’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals, as well as the course’s subtitle, A beginner’s guide to technique and one octave scales on the viola..

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that LTV-SAF is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Kathleen Stringplay’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Kathleen Stringplay that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Kathleen Stringplay that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any LTV-SAF lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Kathleen Stringplay, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Kathleen Stringplay’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Kathleen Stringplay’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Kathleen Stringplay before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether LTV-SAF will be helpful for you.)

Are “Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the LTV-SAF page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to August 22, 2026, there were 76 students enrolled, 27 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 3.7 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate LTV-SAF the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the LTV-SAF reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Kathleen Stringplay responsive to student questions in the LTV-SAF training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their LTV-SAF reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Kathleen Stringplay a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought LTV-SAF yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across LTV-SAF while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Kathleen Stringplay, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of LTV-SAF make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of LTV-SAF can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Kathleen Stringplay is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other LTV-SAF students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through LTV-SAF at your own pace
  • You join a community of 76 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that LTV-SAF would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford LTV-SAF?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think LTV-SAF sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before August 22, 2026, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on LTV-SAF with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Kathleen Stringplay’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best LTV-SAF course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting LTV-SAF for a better price, but also with any other Kathleen Stringplay Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a LTV-SAF discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the LTV-SAF training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals promo code” or “Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Kathleen Stringplay’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Kathleen Stringplay Udemy coupons” or “Kathleen Stringplay course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals coupons” rather than “Kathleen Stringplay coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you LTV-SAF for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get LTV-SAF for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Kathleen Stringplay decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on LTV-SAF, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the LTV-SAF course. Category one is an official Udemy coupon (which instructors can opt out of), while category two is a coupon offered directly by the instructor.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what kind of a coupon tag you’re dealing with (for example, “officially from Udemy” or “officially from the instructor”), as long as long as as you’re dealing with active coupons that get you a better price.

How can you get a LTV-SAF discount from Kathleen Stringplay?

If you’re really serious about getting “Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Kathleen Stringplay, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Kathleen Stringplay’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Kathleen Stringplay’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time LTV-SAF will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get LTV-SAF for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the LTV-SAF training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Kathleen Stringplay has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals free coupon” or “Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Kathleen Stringplay has offered free coupons for LTV-SAF in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a LTV-SAF free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the LTV-SAF training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download LTV-SAF illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Kathleen Stringplay created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 76 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the LTV-SAF training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Kathleen Stringplay’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on LTV-SAF no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the LTV-SAF training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Kathleen Stringplay could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing LTV-SAF and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Learn the Viola – Scales and Fundamentals?

During this LTV-SAF review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the LTV-SAF training, the instructor, Kathleen Stringplay, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 3.9 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Brief course description

This course will introduce students to the very basics of violin playing and music theory. It starts with learning the parts of the instrument itself, applying music to the violin, and finally teaching how to play the classic “Twinkle Twinkle”. The terminology used will be explained in detail as the course progresses, and will be revisited throughout. This course is very video-intensive, with occasional power-points to emphasise certain material to help students achieve full understanding of the music theory covered in the class. The actual course will take about a week to accomplish. This time depends on how much time the student will devote to practicing the material outside of the actual video training. The course is structured in two sections. The first incorporates learning about the bow hold, the violin hold, proper positions, and bowing techniques. The second will focus on beats, in-depth music theory, and scales.

Learning an instrument is a fun way to exercise your creative muscles and the violin presents a challenge, but not a difficult challenge. The violin is a very diverse instrument. It can be played in the most beautiful symphonies, and can also transition into bluegrass music. Anyone who wants to learn violin at their own pace will excel during this course, as it will teach them all the basics they will need on their way to becoming a great violinist.

See you in the course!

Anthony Terrano bio

Hello! I was the concert violinist and first chair violinist for Windham High School in Maine for 4 years. In High School I was the leader of a string quartet and played for multiple orchestral events such as District II and Allstate. In college, I played for the Southern Maine Symphony Orchestra for 1 year and studied music education and violin performance. I also studied violin performance at 317 Maine Street School of Music in Yarmouth Maine. I have been studying intensive music theory and teaching students for 6 years. I teach using a method I created to interact with my students, find their interests, and take them on a journey in music theory and violin performance. My main focus is to incorporate basic music theory and a full understanding of the violin while learning how to play it and have fun doing so. I teach a wide age verity of students which makes Udemy the perfect site for me to teach. Some of my students range from 4-5 years old to 70 years old! I currently teach privately and I am hoping to one day own my own studio to teach in. I was awarded the Joanna Bell Memorial Scholarship for string performance in 2011.

Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 review for 2026

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use CGE-IP2 as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as CGE-IP2 for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and CGE-IP2 is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 49 characters long, including blanks, while CGE-IP2 is 7 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 42 characters every time we use CGE-IP2.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to CGE-IP2 throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 course for you?

To determine whether Hani Gamal’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Hani Gamal’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Hani Gamal chose for the course, “Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2”, as well as its subtitle: “Learn your favorite pop songs with finger-style technique”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Hani Gamal is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what CGE-IP2 is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Hani Gamal hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Hani Gamal’s official description of CGE-IP2

***Join more than 7000 students who are learning how to play classical guitar.***

Hi and welcome to the 2nd part of the Intermediate Classical Guitar Essentials. This course is filled with drills, scales, and of course pieces of music. For the first time in my courses I added a section to teach you how to play Pop songs! We have “A whiter shade of Pale”, “A groovy kind of love”, “Yesterday”, and “Scarborough fair”. Each song I teach you how to do it step by step, and some of it are my own arrangements, so you won’t find it anywhere else but here.

The course follows my other ones, and we are on Grade 2 of London College of Music. So if this is your first time with me, as the title says it’s for Intermediate guitarists. If you are a beginner this one ins NOT for you.

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does CGE-IP2 pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Hani Gamal has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with CGE-IP2 above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Hani Gamal do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Hani Gamal’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Hani Gamal sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the CGE-IP2 course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Hani Gamal’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Hani Gamal, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Hani Gamal’s Udemy bio

Hi, I am Hany Gamal. I live in Egypt. I studied photography, and video editing in fine art college. Then I took a 2 years course with New York Institute of Photography.

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about Hani Gamal after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Hani Gamal, did it make you more or less interested in taking the CGE-IP2 course?

And did it make you feel like Hani Gamal was more or less credible and qualified to teach Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the CGE-IP2 lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the CGE-IP2 course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Hani Gamal’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2, as well as the course’s subtitle, Learn your favorite pop songs with finger-style technique.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that CGE-IP2 is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Hani Gamal’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Hani Gamal that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Hani Gamal that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any CGE-IP2 lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Hani Gamal, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Hani Gamal’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Hani Gamal’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Hani Gamal before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether CGE-IP2 will be helpful for you.)

Are “Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the CGE-IP2 page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to August 22, 2026, there were 112 students enrolled, 49 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.9 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate CGE-IP2 the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the CGE-IP2 reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Hani Gamal responsive to student questions in the CGE-IP2 training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their CGE-IP2 reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Hani Gamal a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought CGE-IP2 yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across CGE-IP2 while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Hani Gamal, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of CGE-IP2 make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of CGE-IP2 can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Hani Gamal is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other CGE-IP2 students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through CGE-IP2 at your own pace
  • You join a community of 112 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that CGE-IP2 would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford CGE-IP2?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think CGE-IP2 sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before August 22, 2026, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on CGE-IP2 with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Hani Gamal’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best CGE-IP2 course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting CGE-IP2 for a better price, but also with any other Hani Gamal Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a CGE-IP2 discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the CGE-IP2 training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 promo code” or “Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Hani Gamal’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Hani Gamal Udemy coupons” or “Hani Gamal course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 coupons” rather than “Hani Gamal coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you CGE-IP2 for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get CGE-IP2 for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Hani Gamal decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on CGE-IP2, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the CGE-IP2 course.

How can you get a CGE-IP2 discount from Hani Gamal?

If you’re really serious about getting “Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Hani Gamal, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Hani Gamal’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Hani Gamal’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time CGE-IP2 will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get CGE-IP2 for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the CGE-IP2 training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Hani Gamal has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 free coupon” or “Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Hani Gamal has offered free coupons for CGE-IP2 in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a CGE-IP2 free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the CGE-IP2 training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download CGE-IP2 illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Hani Gamal created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 112 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2 if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the CGE-IP2 training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Hani Gamal’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on CGE-IP2 no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the CGE-IP2 training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Hani Gamal could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing CGE-IP2 and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Classical Guitar Essentials – Intermediate Part 2?

During this CGE-IP2 review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the CGE-IP2 training, the instructor, Hani Gamal, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.9 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Why use QPC-LTPPBE as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear! course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as QPC-LTPPBE for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and QPC-LTPPBE is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 55 characters long, including blanks, while QPC-LTPPBE is 10 characters long.

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Ozie Cargile chose for the course, “Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear!”, as well as its subtitle: “Imagine playing piano by ear. How would that improve your music? Understand the theory and improvise your own songs.”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Ozie Cargile is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what QPC-LTPPBE is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Ozie Cargile hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear! is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

Opening lines from Ozie Cargile’s Udemy bio

Ozie Cargile is a composer from Detroit, Michigan. At eleven, his music teacher sparked his interest in music whereupon he taught himself to play the piano. Greatly inspired by the pieces of John Williams (Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Harry Potter…) and other legendary composers, Cargile decided to advance his studies in composition and orchestration at the University of Michigan School of Music. Clearly following the simple yet powerful advice once given to him by the late Jerry Goldsmith (“Study.”), he earned a Bachelor of Music Composition with a Principle Degree in Piano Performance.

Is Ozie Cargile responsive to student questions in the QPC-LTPPBE training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their QPC-LTPPBE reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Ozie Cargile a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought QPC-LTPPBE yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across QPC-LTPPBE while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear! on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear! is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear!.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Ozie Cargile, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of QPC-LTPPBE make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear! training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of QPC-LTPPBE can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Ozie Cargile is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other QPC-LTPPBE students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through QPC-LTPPBE at your own pace
  • You join a community of 7,918 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that QPC-LTPPBE would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford QPC-LTPPBE?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear!?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think QPC-LTPPBE sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before August 22, 2026, the price was $13.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on QPC-LTPPBE with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear!?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear! discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Ozie Cargile’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best QPC-LTPPBE course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting QPC-LTPPBE for a better price, but also with any other Ozie Cargile Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a QPC-LTPPBE discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the QPC-LTPPBE training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear! promo code” or “Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear! udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Ozie Cargile’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Ozie Cargile Udemy coupons” or “Ozie Cargile course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear! coupons” rather than “Ozie Cargile coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you QPC-LTPPBE for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get QPC-LTPPBE for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Ozie Cargile decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on QPC-LTPPBE, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the QPC-LTPPBE course.

How can you get a QPC-LTPPBE discount from Ozie Cargile?

If you’re really serious about getting “Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear!” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Ozie Cargile, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Ozie Cargile’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear!. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Ozie Cargile’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time QPC-LTPPBE will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get QPC-LTPPBE for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the QPC-LTPPBE training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Ozie Cargile has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear! free coupon” or “Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear! 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Ozie Cargile has offered free coupons for QPC-LTPPBE in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a QPC-LTPPBE free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the QPC-LTPPBE training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download QPC-LTPPBE illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear! download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear! free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Ozie Cargile created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 7,918 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear! if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the QPC-LTPPBE training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Ozie Cargile’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on QPC-LTPPBE no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the QPC-LTPPBE training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Ozie Cargile could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing QPC-LTPPBE and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Quicklessons Piano Course – Learn to Play Piano by Ear!?

During this QPC-LTPPBE review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the QPC-LTPPBE training, the instructor, Ozie Cargile, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.8 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way review for 2026

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use GSPSGTSW as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as GSPSGTSW for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and GSPSGTSW is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 48 characters long, including blanks, while GSPSGTSW is 8 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 40 characters every time we use GSPSGTSW.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to GSPSGTSW throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way course for you?

To determine whether Henry Olsen’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Henry Olsen’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Henry Olsen chose for the course, “Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way”, as well as its subtitle: “Guitar: Learn to play solo guitar and make guitar solos in less than an hour.”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Henry Olsen is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what GSPSGTSW is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Henry Olsen hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Henry Olsen’s official description of GSPSGTSW

Dear aspiring guitarist, congratulations on finding this course!

Have ever wondered how Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, Gary Moore, Carlos Santana, John Mayer etc. seem to have guitar solos poor out of them with hardly any effort?

Every note seems to have some kind of magic to it…

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does GSPSGTSW pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Henry Olsen has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with GSPSGTSW above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Henry Olsen do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Henry Olsen’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Henry Olsen sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the GSPSGTSW course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Henry Olsen’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Henry Olsen, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Henry Olsen’s Udemy bio

Hi, my name is Henry Olsen!

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about Henry Olsen after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Henry Olsen, did it make you more or less interested in taking the GSPSGTSW course?

And did it make you feel like Henry Olsen was more or less credible and qualified to teach Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the GSPSGTSW lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the GSPSGTSW course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Henry Olsen’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way, as well as the course’s subtitle, Guitar: Learn to play solo guitar and make guitar solos in less than an hour..

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that GSPSGTSW is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Henry Olsen’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Henry Olsen that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Henry Olsen that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any GSPSGTSW lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Henry Olsen, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Henry Olsen’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Henry Olsen’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Henry Olsen before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether GSPSGTSW will be helpful for you.)

Are “Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the GSPSGTSW page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to August 22, 2026, there were 234 students enrolled, 79 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.4 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate GSPSGTSW the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the GSPSGTSW reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Henry Olsen responsive to student questions in the GSPSGTSW training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their GSPSGTSW reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Henry Olsen a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought GSPSGTSW yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across GSPSGTSW while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Henry Olsen, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of GSPSGTSW make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of GSPSGTSW can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Henry Olsen is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other GSPSGTSW students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through GSPSGTSW at your own pace
  • You join a community of 234 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that GSPSGTSW would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford GSPSGTSW?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think GSPSGTSW sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before August 22, 2026, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on GSPSGTSW with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Henry Olsen’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best GSPSGTSW course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting GSPSGTSW for a better price, but also with any other Henry Olsen Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a GSPSGTSW discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the GSPSGTSW training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way promo code” or “Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Henry Olsen’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Henry Olsen Udemy coupons” or “Henry Olsen course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way coupons” rather than “Henry Olsen coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you GSPSGTSW for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get GSPSGTSW for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Henry Olsen decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on GSPSGTSW, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the GSPSGTSW course.

How can you get a GSPSGTSW discount from Henry Olsen?

If you’re really serious about getting “Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Henry Olsen, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Henry Olsen’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Henry Olsen’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time GSPSGTSW will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get GSPSGTSW for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the GSPSGTSW training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Henry Olsen has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way free coupon” or “Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Henry Olsen has offered free coupons for GSPSGTSW in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a GSPSGTSW free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the GSPSGTSW training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download GSPSGTSW illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Henry Olsen created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 234 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the GSPSGTSW training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Henry Olsen’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on GSPSGTSW no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the GSPSGTSW training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Henry Olsen could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing GSPSGTSW and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Guitar: Start Playing Solo Guitar The Simple Way?

During this GSPSGTSW review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the GSPSGTSW training, the instructor, Henry Olsen, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.5 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.

Learn To Play The Drums review for 2026

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about Learn To Play The Drums as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use LTPTD as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Learn To Play The Drums course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as LTPTD for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and LTPTD is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 23 characters long, including blanks, while LTPTD is 5 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 18 characters every time we use LTPTD.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to LTPTD throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Learn To Play The Drums course for you?

To determine whether Billy Baker’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Billy Baker’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Billy Baker chose for the course, “Learn To Play The Drums”, as well as its subtitle: “Become a drummer with a step by step programme to get you from being drumming novice to drumming expert”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Billy Baker is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what LTPTD is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Billy Baker hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Learn To Play The Drums is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Billy Baker’s official description of LTPTD

Hello and welcome to Learn to Play the Drums, a top seller on Udemy by Billy Baker – Top 10% instructor on Udemy. If you’ve always wanted to learn the drums this course is for you. Enrol now and I’ll see you on the inside!

New videos include:

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does LTPTD pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Learn To Play The Drums on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Billy Baker has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Learn To Play The Drums appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with LTPTD above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Billy Baker do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Billy Baker’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Billy Baker sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the LTPTD course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Billy Baker’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Billy Baker, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Billy Baker’s Udemy bio

Billy is a freelance drummer and drum tutor from the UK. He is a session drummer for various bands, teaches drums in various locations and teaches music industry to budding musicians.

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about Billy Baker after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Billy Baker, did it make you more or less interested in taking the LTPTD course?

And did it make you feel like Billy Baker was more or less credible and qualified to teach Learn To Play The Drums?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the LTPTD lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Learn To Play The Drums course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the LTPTD course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Billy Baker’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Learn To Play The Drums, as well as the course’s subtitle, Become a drummer with a step by step programme to get you from being drumming novice to drumming expert.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that LTPTD is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Billy Baker’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Billy Baker that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Billy Baker that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Learn To Play The Drums training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any LTPTD lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Billy Baker, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Billy Baker’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Billy Baker’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Learn To Play The Drums will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Billy Baker before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether LTPTD will be helpful for you.)

Are “Learn To Play The Drums” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the LTPTD page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to August 22, 2026, there were 4,907 students enrolled, 1,709 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.6 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate LTPTD the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the LTPTD reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Billy Baker responsive to student questions in the LTPTD training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their LTPTD reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Billy Baker a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought LTPTD yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across LTPTD while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Learn To Play The Drums on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Learn To Play The Drums is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Learn To Play The Drums.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Billy Baker, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of LTPTD make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Learn To Play The Drums training that looks something like this:

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that LTPTD would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford LTPTD?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Learn To Play The Drums?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think LTPTD sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie review for 2026

In our review of this course, we try to help you answer all of your most important questions about Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that you can determine whether this online education training is worth your time and money.

Feel free to jump to whatever question you want answered the most.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Why use P-CBE-ES as an abbreviation of the course name?

During our Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie course review, you might sometimes see us refer to it as P-CBE-ES for the following 2 reasons:

  1. We created the acronym by taking the first letter of every word (which was very ingenious and innovative, we know)
  2. We’re lazy and P-CBE-ES is simpler and easier for reviewing purposes

The full course name is 44 characters long, including blanks, while P-CBE-ES is 8 characters long.

You do the math.

Okay, we’ll do the math. We’re saving 36 characters every time we use P-CBE-ES.

So, just a heads up that we’ll be using this abbreviation sometimes, so you’re not left scratching your head and wondering what the heck we’re talking about whenever we refer to P-CBE-ES throughout the remainder of this review.

Is the Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie course for you?

To determine whether Robin Hall’s Udemy course is a good fit for you or not, ask yourself the following questions down below.

The more you answer “yes” to each question, the more likely it is that you’ll like this course.

Can you understand what Robin Hall’s course is about in 30 seconds or less?

Hopefully, you can easily grasp in 10 seconds or less what this online course is about simply by taking a look at the title that Robin Hall chose for the course, “Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie”, as well as its subtitle: “An incredible new way to learn classical piano – from the creator of best selling piano course Pianoforall”.

This combo of title and subtitle should be enough to communicate the purpose of the training if Robin Hall is a good, clear communicator (which, of course, you want in a teacher).

In our opinion, if you still don’t know what P-CBE-ES is about after looking at these two things, then this is a red flag, and you might be better off not taking this class.

Among other things, it means Robin Hall hasn’t clearly and accurately conveyed what the course is about and might not be the best teacher for you.

For similar reasons, it’s important that you’re able to clearly understand what Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie is all about from the first few lines of the course description.

So take just a few seconds to read the opening lines down below and see what you think of them.

Opening lines of Robin Hall’s official description of P-CBE-ES

A New Way to Learn

For over a decade, Pianoforall has taught over 200,000 people worldwide how to play amazing pop, jazz, blues, ballads and improvisation, and now we’re going to teach you how to play INCREDIBLE Classical pieces in the same way.

These courses are for ADULT BEGINNERS who would love to build a repertoire of great classical pieces but who don’t have the time (or the inclination) to learn the ‘traditional’ ‘hard’ way.

(Read more about this course on the official course page.)

Does P-CBE-ES pass the 30 Seconds Test?

You can read a lot more about Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie on the official course page on Udemy, but the point is this: are the title, subtitle, and just the first few lines of the description enough to help you understand what the course is about?

If so, Robin Hall has done a good job and can be considered more trustworthy and a good communicator, which are important qualities for any teacher.

And, if not, maybe you’re better off looking at other Music classes that are more clearly defined and more tailored to your specific interests.

Did Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie appeal to you in 30 seconds or less?

Now that you’ve done the 30 Second Test with P-CBE-ES above, what is your gut reaction to this Music course with only the basic information of its title, subtitle, and the first few opening lines of its official course summary?

Did Robin Hall do a good job conveying its subject matter, and did it immediately get your attention and appeal to you?

If so, Robin Hall’s online course is certainly worth considering some more.

But if not, perhaps it’s in your best interest to consider some other Music courses instead, because clear communication and being able to hook and maintain your interest are two very important qualities for your online learning success.

Does Robin Hall sound like a course instructor you’d like to learn from?

You’ve already learned how to use The 30 Second Test to make a quick evaluation of whether the P-CBE-ES course is worth taking.

We have a similar 15 Second Bio Test where you read only the first few lines of an instructor’s background — in this case, Robin Hall’s background — and then you make a quick, snap judgment as to whether you think the instructor would be ideal for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s just about going with your gut instinct. What might appeal to one potential student might alienate another, and vice versa.

(FYI, all Udemy instructors, including Robin Hall, have a Udemy profile on their course page, so you can easily check for a bio and background on the Udemy website that way. We’re only including the first few lines of the bio down below for The 15 Second Bio Test).

Opening lines from Robin Hall’s Udemy bio

Hi Everyone

(Learn more about this instructor on the official course page.)

What did you think about Robin Hall after reading just the first few lines of the bio above?

After reading just the first few lines about Robin Hall, did it make you more or less interested in taking the P-CBE-ES course?

And did it make you feel like Robin Hall was more or less credible and qualified to teach Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie?

Finally, overall, did you feel like you’d receive the proper training from the instructor of this Music course?

As always, we encourage you to listen to your gut instinct, which is different for every student.

Are the P-CBE-ES lessons clear, specific, and organized well?

Part of the (good) problem with Udemy’s online courses, such as the Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie course, is that the instructors are constantly updating them, including adding and renaming lessons.

So it makes no sense whatsoever for us to list out all the modules and lessons in the P-CBE-ES course here, because you can just as easily go to the Udemy course page and get all the up to date course structure as of right now.

We do, however, have some tips about reviewing Robin Hall’s course structure, so that you can get a better sense of whether this program is worth your time or not.

In a nutshell, you want to scan the the titles of the different sections and lessons of the course, and verify that they are clearly relevant to the course’s name, Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie, as well as the course’s subtitle, An incredible new way to learn classical piano – from the creator of best selling piano course Pianoforall.

If the section names and lessons are clear, specific, and relevant, then it’s a good sign that P-CBE-ES is potentially a good, useful course for you, and you can have more confidence in Robin Hall’s teaching abilities and lesson planning.

On the other hand, if the module names are confusing, vague, or irrelevant, then this is a red flag, which might indicate that the program is worth skipping.

Have you taken some free lessons from Robin Hall that you enjoyed?

Have you already learned something from Robin Hall that you valued or enjoyed?

For example, does the Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie training have some free lessons that you can try? (Almost all Udemy instructors will give you at least one or two lessons for free to help you make a better, more informed decision before enrolling in their course.)

But if you weren’t able to get any P-CBE-ES lessons for free, have you perhaps watched a YouTube video by Robin Hall, or perhaps come across this instructor’s thoughts on Quora, Facebook, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, or some other platform?

Or have you perhaps even taken one of Robin Hall’s free courses or free webinars? (Many online teachers offer these freebies, which is a great way to get to know them and evaluate their teaching methods before buying one of their courses.)

In any case, the more familiar you are with Robin Hall’s teaching methods, and the more you enjoy them, the more likely it is that Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie will be a good fit for you.

(P.S.: We strongly encourage you to seek out some free instruction from Robin Hall before purchasing this course, since it’s one of the best ways to determine whether P-CBE-ES will be helpful for you.)

Are “Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie” reviews generally positive?

On the bottom of the P-CBE-ES page, you can read student reviews of the class.

Prior to August 22, 2026, there were 1,706 students enrolled, 766 reviews / ratings, and it was overall rated 4.6 out of 5.

Obviously, the more highly other students rate P-CBE-ES the better, but no matter what, keep an open mind when reading the reviews, since you might still like a course a great deal that other students dislike.

After all, everyone’s got their own opinion.

We recommend that you spend only a couple minutes scanning the P-CBE-ES reviews to get an overall sense of them. You don’t have to read each one!

Is Robin Hall responsive to student questions in the P-CBE-ES training?

You can see what other students have to say about this in their P-CBE-ES reviews.

But, our simple all time favorite way of gauging an instructor’s responsiveness is to simply email the instructor and see if or how they respond.

In this case, Udemy has a messaging system for students / anyone who has an account, and you can send Robin Hall a message through this system quite easily, even if you haven’t bought P-CBE-ES yet.

For example, you could say, “Hi, and I came across P-CBE-ES while looking at Music courses on Udemy. If I enroll in your training, would you mind if I asked you any questions along the way?”

If you use this approach, the response (or lack of response) from the professor will tell you everything.

Obviously, the quicker the response the better!

Are you comfortable going through the lessons in Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie on your own, online?

This is a big one, because Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie is an online course as opposed to a course that you physically take in a classroom.

Of course, you will need a good internet connection to have access to the course material and lessons, but beyond that, you also have to be comfortable being self motivated to some degree, being on your own, and not having any physical interaction with any of the other students taking Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie.

Yes, you will be able to interact with the students and the teacher, Robin Hall, online, but it’s a different kind of experience than what you’d get if you were interacting with them in person.

This is not a big deal to most people, but it might be something for you to consider if you feel like you do better taking classes in person rather than learning online.

Do the pros / benefits of P-CBE-ES make it worth your time?

Ideally, if you’ve gone through the evaluation steps above, you have a list of positive things about the Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie training that looks something like this:

  • The purpose of P-CBE-ES can be clearly grasped and understood, and its lesson structure is clear, specific, and well organized
  • Robin Hall is well qualified to teach this subject matter, has good teaching abilities, and is responsive to student questions
  • Other P-CBE-ES students have great things to say about the program

Other benefits include:

  • You get to go through P-CBE-ES at your own pace
  • You join a community of 1,706 other students taking the course
  • You get lifetime access to the training
  • All updates to the training are free
  • You have a 30 day money back guarantee

Even if there are some things that you don’t like about the program, so what?

The question is simply this: do you think that P-CBE-ES would be worth your time, even if there are some things that could be better about it?

Can you comfortably afford P-CBE-ES?

Can you comfortably afford the cost of Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie?

This is an important question to answer, because even if you think P-CBE-ES sounds like the greatest online class in the world, it’s still not worth taking if you can’t comfortably afford it!

Before August 22, 2026, the price was $12.99 before any Udemy discount, and you were able to pay with a credit card.

Keep in mind that this is a Udemy online course, and there’s a great chance that you can get a solid discount on P-CBE-ES with Udemy coupons / promo codes, especially with the strategies we provide for helping you find the best, most popular coupons available.

We’ll cover that in greater detail in the next section, because at the end of the day, its important that you can learn whatever you want to learn without getting into a lot of credit card debt.

How can you maximize your discount on Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie?

By far, the easiest way to get the best and biggest discount on this course is to use the Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie discount code link at the top of this page.

It will instantly give you the best coupon code we could find for Robin Hall’s online training.

We don’t believe there’s a bigger discount than the one we provided, but if for some reason you’d like to try find one, you can use the methods below to hunt for the best P-CBE-ES course coupons and promo codes you can find.

FYI, the methods below will help you not just with getting P-CBE-ES for a better price, but also with any other Robin Hall Udemy course that you’d like to get for cheaper.

How can Google help you get a P-CBE-ES discount?

To use this method, do a Google search for the P-CBE-ES training, but in your search query, be sure to add words like coupon code, promo code, deal, sale, discount, and Udemy.

For example, you might do a search for “Udemy Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie promo code” or “Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie udemy coupon codes” and see what turns up.

Similarly, you can use the same combination of search terms with Robin Hall’s name and see what happens.

For example, you might do a Google search for “Robin Hall Udemy coupons” or “Robin Hall course coupon codes” and see if that helps you.

However, in general, it’s far more powerful to do a search for deals and coupon codes with the actual training’s name, than with the instructor’s name.

So in this case, for example, prioritize searches for “Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie coupons” rather than “Robin Hall coupons”.

How can a Udemy sale get you P-CBE-ES for cheaper?

Every once in while, Udemy will do a sitewide sale where they offer all (or almost all) their courses at a discounted price. For example, one of the best sales is where every course is only $10 or $9.99.

So, if you’re interested in saving as much money as possible, you could wait and see if you can get P-CBE-ES for this cheaper Udemy sale price one day.

The problem is that these sales only occur sporadically, so you might be waiting for a while. Also, if Robin Hall decides not to participate in the site wide sale, then you won’t get a discount on P-CBE-ES, even though you could get a great discount on almost any other class at Udemy!

To understand this, think of there as being two different coupon categories for the P-CBE-ES course.

How can you get a P-CBE-ES discount from Robin Hall?

If you’re really serious about getting “Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie” for the cheapest price possible, then perhaps one of the most powerful things you can do is get a coupon code straight from Robin Hall, instead of waiting for a Udemy sale.

To do this, you can use either the direct approach or an indirect approach to try to get your discount.

With the direct approach, the big idea is to simply get Robin Hall’s contact info in some way or another (whether it’s email, or Twitter, or whatever else).

Then you send a message saying something like “I’m interested in enrolling in Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie. Do you happen to currently have an active coupon code for it that I could use?” (And then, hopefully, you’ll get a reply with your discount code.)

On the other hand, with the indirect approach, you join Robin Hall’s mailing list, if you can find it, and then you hope that at some time P-CBE-ES will be promoted to you at a discount.

By far, the more powerful approach is the direct approach, because it tends to get results faster. But you can experiment with the indirect approach and see if it works for you.

Can you get P-CBE-ES for free?

Of course, the best possible price for the P-CBE-ES training is free! As in, you pay no money whatsoever.

And guess what? Sometimes Udemy instructors provide coupon codes that enable students to take their courses for free. So, perhaps it’s possible that Robin Hall has done this.

Basically, if you’re trying to get this program for free, you will want to search for the course’s name along with other words like free coupon, or 100 off coupon.

For example, you might do a google search for “Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie free coupon” or “Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie 100 off coupon” and see what happens.

But keep this in mind: often, Udemy teachers will offer a free coupon for their course when it first opens to get some publicity and reviews. And then, after a few days, they’ll make the coupon expired.

So even Robin Hall has offered free coupons for P-CBE-ES in the past, the odds are likely they will all be currently expired. This is a common pattern that we have found.

What about a P-CBE-ES free download?

It’s important to understand that there’s a difference between getting full access to the P-CBE-ES training for free legally with a free coupon code vs. finding a way to download P-CBE-ES illegally.

If you really want to go the download route, you can do a google search for something like “Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie download”.

And if that doesn’t get you the results you want, you can add the word “free” to your search.

For example, perhaps you could do a google search for “Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie free download”.

However, even if you get some results from these searches, we do not recommend that you take this course of action.

First of all, there are some shady sites out there that could be trying to infect your computer.

Second, Robin Hall created this course and deserves monetary compensation for it.

And third, if you go the free download route, you’ll be missing out on a lot of value, because you won’t be able to ask the instructor questions or interact with the other 1,706 students enrolled in the program.

Can you get a refund on Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie if you don’t like it?

Let’s say that you used our tips above, and you were able to buy the P-CBE-ES training at a fantastic discounted price. So at this point, you’re super excited.

Then, you actually dive into Robin Hall’s course, and you discover that it just isn’t for you for whatever reason.

And now you’re super bummed, because you feel like it wasn’t money well spent.

Well, guess what?

Udemy offers a rock solid 30 day money back guarantee on all their courses, so you can get a refund on P-CBE-ES no matter what. And this means there is absolutely no risk.

Indeed, even if you left a super negative, critical review on the P-CBE-ES training, and then asked for your money back, you’d get a refund. For better or worse, there’s nothing Robin Hall could do about it, since it is simply Udemy policy.

To sum it up: yes, you can get a full refund, so at the end of the day, don’t worry about the possibility of purchasing P-CBE-ES and not liking it, since you can always get your money back.

What is OCP’s overall rating of Pianoforall – ‘Classics By Ear’ – Erik Satie?

During this P-CBE-ES review, you’ve learned about some of the unusual ways we like to evaluate courses, such as with The 30 Second Test and The 15 Second Bio Test.

So our overall review process is perhaps a little unusual and different from other reviews out there. Keep this in mind when you consider the overall rating / score that we have given this course.

Anyway, after taking a look at the P-CBE-ES training, the instructor, Robin Hall, and reading what other students have said about this program, we give it an overall rating of 4.8 out of 5.

Ultimately, though, what matters most is what you would rate it based on the same criteria.
